This is significant because the Schedule 1 status demands a drug have no medicinal value; a linchpin of propaganda- because almost every drug has potential therapeutic or medical applications in some form or another.
Not only that, but I think the Department of Veteran's Affairs (also a federal agency IIRC) approved the use of medical marijuana for veterans in the last year or two. When that happened, I remember wondering if that decision would finally have an impact on marijuana's scheduling... but it looks like they have no intent to change it at all.

I'd rather just drop a few hits of acid into their chardonnay and watch them squirm as all their excess narcissism and self-promoting lies come back to haunt them.

I hate living in this town. The only good thing about this place is the weed lol. But like closing the weed shops is going to change anything.
Its everywhere and everyone is growing it. Grandmas, Grandpas to 17 yo girls and school teachers. Just driving or walking around town and you can fallow the smell.

No, don't do that! Police reproduce via sexual reproduction, fucking them causes them to multiply.
The opposite strategy is much more effective - refuse to sleep with the police.
