This job is a lot more physical than I thought going in to it. Some of the items are bigger and heavier and go up on higher shelves than I assumed. So that's cool, I get to work out while I work. And plenty of cute female co-workers to ooh and aah as I do, that's cool too. (Most are entirely too young for me, look-don't-touch kind of thing. But everybody is 18 and up.)

No minors, I mean. If the looking turned into touching I'd only be violating policy and not law. But some of these girls are too young. Others- just young enough.

Another Aussie in da house. :Quote:
quinn said: u didnt but it is just how it goes. dw i am the same... IT ALWAYS starts off ok.
then u miss one reading. then u get an assignment. then u miss more. go to a party. have some kind of personal crisis. are 5 readings behind. then mid semester break when u say u will catchup readings but end up going out mostly and just scraping through your last assignment.
then it all comes down to how well u can fool them for last exams, and u dont even bother going to lectures or doing the reading coz you are so far behind it hurts your brain to think about it.
then you get a B-.
rinse and repeat.
Just finished my readings HA! Fucking studious I know.
In reply to quinn and mellow party, what you studying? (I gathered biochemistry from mellowparty's post)
I started studying biotechnology but couldn't handle it.. Now I'm studying a Bachelor of mass communication. It's cruise city, uni 2 days a week, no exams this semester. Just assignments. Just the way I like it.

Good morning pup. On cup # 3 of some earl gray tea.
It was so nice here this weekend spent most of it outside the house. So I need to clean today for sure.
Soaking more wbs and gonna start a mini today (might wait till I have three quarts jars done instead of 2 since its my first mini tub?) .
Now time for a bong rip and to get to work.

this is especially true when eating mushies.

my most pleasant trips have been way back in the forest, listening to the wind currents sweep through the valleys, animals going about their existence, you know, nature being nature.
i'm a big "light" person. watching how the Sun and shadows create various patterns throughout a landscape blows my mind (tripping or no).

I'm doing a BSc in molecular biology and I have to deal with some methane farting bacteria on the bottom of the ocean that nobody gives a fuck about. I am unhappy cause I have to remember an utterly useless set of related biochemical pathways that will be forgotten in less than 2 days after the exam

by river I meant just walking along the water front towards Brisbane city. The lights reflecting off the water look really cool.

exactly what I hated. You study all this time and bam 4 days later you wouldn't be able to pass the same test.
The other day I was trying to explain Polymerase 2 and the process of DNA replication to a friend. I was shocked at how much I had forgotten about basic biological concepts.
