    #1426994 - 04/03/03 08:33 PM (15 years, 1 month ago)

it's hard to gauge the humidity in my terrarium so i was just hoping to run the dehumidifier 24/7 which would put it at like 100% rh. what possible negitive effects could come from a little too much humidity?

thanks

If you're fruiting cakes you can't have too much humidity.

I believe that too much humidity will cause an overgrowth of mycellium, or too much soft white fluffy mycellium. I also heard that casigs don't need high humidity, but i'm not sure if thats a bad thing or not.

SOmebody correct me if I'm wrong

Dude the first time some one used  de humidifier in their setup .......any way how big is your setup...if its really huge u can keep it on all the time otherwise like sailcheese said....also the rate of contam will go through the roof if the humidity is so high that it wets the whole set up...too much of a good thing can
