Did morels make me sick?

So I had some morels with supper last night, sauteed. I didn't eat a lot, maybe 1/4 cup total. Before I ate them I drank a tilt beer, the equivalent of about 4 regular beers I think. I felt completely fine until I went to bed an hour or 2 later, then I started feeling really nauseous and had to get up and go to the bathroom and throw up. I threw up a lot, I'm pretty sure I emptied everything in my stomach. No diarrhea or anything like that though. I felt better immediately afterward and went back to bed and fell asleep. My boyfriend also had the morels with supper, he ate about the same amount as me and drank even more before than I did before he ate them but he never got sick. I have a few theories for why I got sick:
1) Morels and alcohol combined made me sick. I've read that the combo can cause nausea/vomiting for some people, but I've also read that that is a myth and bullshit so idk.
2) Morels were undercooked? Unlikely, they seemed well-cooked and my bf ate as much as I did without getting sick.
3) I'm allergic to morels. I hope this one isn't right, I really like them. I don't have any other allergies either. Could it be an allergy? What kind of symptoms would I get from a mushroom allergy.
4) Coincidence, maybe got food poisoning from something else I had for supper.
Any ideas on which theory is most likely? Or any other ideas? Thanks for reading.

Could be any one or more of them. The last time I ate morels,(a small amount) I also vomited...within minutes. Never had a problem before. They're supposedly slightly toxic when not cooked fully. Beer shouldn't really matter in "normal" situations, I don't think.

alcohol and almost any mushroom fiber can cause stomach contractions, due to a false sense of poisoning, its not so much that the morel is toxic, its that with alcohol and even by its self, especially raw, a mushroom can cause an irritation that the body interprets as a poison. it could be any of what you mentioned.
to check for allergy,
wait a week, touch morel to lips, wait 3 days, chew one small piece then rinse, wait 3 days, chew a small cooked piece, wait 3 days, chew and swallow a1g cooked piece, wait 3 days, then double, and continue until you reach 100-200grams, if any problems occur dont eat anymore, eating more than that will cause most people's digestive tracts to contract due to rich fibers.

There are cases of people who are sensitive to specific types of mushrooms when consumed with alcohol. I knew a guy who became extremely ill if he consumed any alcohol with Boletus edulis. He had no problems with any other species, and even a fraction of a beer would trigger the reaction.
If you've eaten morels before, then you may be one of those people that need to avoid alcohol consumption with morels. While uncommon, there are several reports of that.
Happy mushrooming!

If you had food poisoning, you'd puke a whole lot more than once.

I haven't eaten them before, next time I'll try them without alcohol and hope that turns out better.
