Rehydrating perlite on the fly
    #14267310 - 04/10/11 02:14 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

My RH was a little low and the perlite felt dry, so I poured about 1/2 liter from my spray bottle onto exposed perlite.  Other than the chance of it leaking out the bottom if you add too much (which it didn't), is there any problem with doing this?

At this point your cakes are fully capable of fighting off threats. You're perfectly fine. Mist/fan, the misting will help keep the perlite wet!
