Tripping Three Times a Week
    #1426677 -

Hi. I am 16 years old and last weekend i tripped on friday for my third time, and saturday for my fourth. On Friday, I took a eighth and i was in a very trippy room with some friends and had an really mental trip. The visuals werent grand but they were there, but again, it was VERY mental. The next day, i took about 3/4 of an eighth and was in a semi-comfortable atmosphere, but i barely tripped. No visuals and only somewhat mental. Is it normal to barely trip the day later? Is it healthy to trip day after day? Just curious, thanks to all who respond

P.S. I was planning on tripping for my fifth time, tomorrow, friday(4.4.03), but if you feel that i will barely trip because i took them twice last week, let me know. Thanks Again.

_eskimo_

Moderation seems to be the key. Smoke pot everyday...yes. Herion and coke everyday...yes.(dam addicted people).

Mushies everyday...nah...they are a real gift. Use them wisely as they are not a party drug.

I'm about to go fucking balistic if people keep saying stuff like that.. Mushrooms are sacred, thou shalt not trip at a "party" or to "get fucked up."

However, it certainly isn't practical to trip day after day because you build up a strong tolerance to it. 9 days and the tolerance is completely gone, I've had success with 7 days week after week, and some say 3 days is all you need.

He is saying that he thinks mushrooms are ok to be used as a party drug I think...

Why waste shrooms is my response to the original post. One develops tolerance to mushrooms after the first dose and you have to take more and more to get noticeable effects... just chill don't overdo it.. wait a while so you can recapture the magic.

Oh one thing I noticed... why do you have to mention your age?? Is it so we can point out that you are young and so hardcore for tripping three times in a week? Or is it so we can berate you for being too young to trip so much?? I just think it is interesting that the first thing you mention in your post is how old you are..

You should wait a minimum of a week before tripping again, but you shouldn't even do it every week, either. It sounds to me like you weren't really getting what you wanted from the mushrooms if you felt like you needed to do it again the next day.
Just take a bigger dose in the first place, and maybe it will leave you with enough to think about that you won't want or need to do it again for a month...

Smoking pot every day is a waste too IMHO, and lots of people do that.

Ok, to actually answer your question- you will feel it, the tolerance is really high the next day but not 6 days later. But still I recommend waiting until next weekend, and then taking 5 grams- (in a very "comfortable atmosphere") and see how it goes...

Well all I see here is another case of polydrug abuse by a fool.

Do you have suicidal tendencies?

you are not going to trip if you keep it up.... Dont trip more then once a week and even once a week for an extended period of time is way way way to much in my opinion.

When i first had an unlimiited supply of musheis i wanted to trip every weekend....it cought up with me. Now i feel you really shouldnt trip more then 1-2 times a year.

My worst nightmare is getting bored with psychedelics.

look what u want out of the trip:

ie, if you want a strong 'shamanistic' voyage into mental-auditory ripple-landscapes dose few but strong.

if you want a way to make your hair sexy and your skin more charismatic and your voice to loosen up trip less but more to everyday--it works for me.

shrooms are a communicator drug; in-effect, they reliquinish mental cavitys to your internal dialogue--heavy trips pull the inverse of yourself into yourself and you 'trip'. But the same can be done by tripping everyday to get a marginal-charisma you can use to flex more coherently in the social groves you know, (or simply stated, you can become a vascular cork.)

i have used them for the past month straight to both ends: if the weird diction/syntax of my post is all awkard and skewed its only because i have recently run out of that linguistic drug and have been doing free-style SoC with a bassist friend of mine.

really though, different levels are variant functions for the same trip with different peoples (yourself or others. /+-or yourself and others). Try out what you like, but know chemically speaking tolerance supposdly is every 3 days to refresh your mind or something like that...

also, if you plan on tripping everyday a nice way to sedate the mental tract in your head along a specific rationalizing gradient is to exercise so often--run for 15 minutes even will help 'localize' your individuality (or mental persona) to itself, really, it helps and is good for your body (in turn good with the symbiosis with the shrooms).

oh yeah, i am not bored with pyschadelics. Hallucinations, BTW, are essentially worthless--they are neat and fun but essentially, unless they yeild unto something for you to take with you into the future they are superflous childess gibberish. So if pyschadelics are boring b/c you are no longer having fun starring at the trees trying reading some John Muir before you trip and muscle out the ideas from your vocal chords or do whatever creative-progessiveism (or progressive-escapism as my friend laughs at me with)--he is great and very subtly pyschadelic.

--------------------------the other thing i'd like to mention is to those who say
pot (or any drug) is supposed to be stuck to a specific timescale regime.

It's not--everydrug is unique unto the similarily unique personality of whatever human is ingesting whatever substance. The thing about weed is that all you really need to do is puncture thro to that stoned mentality--smoking more or less is variable to this. For example, if u are going to fuck smoke more than a lot; conversly, if you are going to read or exercise (yes, this is something i do, it helps visual-conceptialize-and feel the muscles/their force curve) you'd want to smoke less. But just smoking half a bowl will get your mind into the stoned-mentality, i recomend this for any of u stoners out there who smoke a lot:

exercise one (i am guessing it helps keep tolerence down to a degree also);
and two, smoke from a full bowl + to a quarter of a bowl other days, it'll really help open up the stoned expirence again, when you can be more functionate but still retain the marijuana-influence; and in turn you can then weild more of the benefits of getting stoned when you do get more stoned the next time... (if any of what i am saying is making sense,).

I really recomend just smoking half a bowl and cleaning or going to get something to eat with friends; the realignment of the gravity of the stoned-feeling helps loosen up the spotchy interference mj brings with it. (or can,)

Most of all though: try variance and see what's best.
It's true for growing conditions, for drug use, for reading and music--it is a fundemental, i guess then: expirenment and pull what you like best.

Also, A VERY IMPORTANT point I read in some trip report of 40 dry grams in the desert once is that, a drug trip can only be so much as what you put into it--the more your mind has knowledge the wider the expirence can be.
