PF Cake VERY SLOW GROWTH!!!

Ok so my dog has this PF Cake and there are about 14 Pins on it. And it is the second flush and unlike the first flush these are growing very very very slow but they have not aborted yet. On shroom is huge and growing at a normal rate yet the others seem to grow practicly nothing each day! Is there something he can do to make these pins grow?

Its possible that the one big one is hogging the nutrients, so the others are not getting much. Just a thought.

Did you dunk after the first flush? I've seen cakes do what your saying when they get low on moisture.

Is it turning blue-ish in color? ..that is a tell tale sign that the cake is deydrated and needs water.
You can inject sterile water into the cake with a syringe. inject 10cc of sterile water into several places in the cake. Works like a charm.
good luck!

Did you pick the mushroom while the others were still growing? That will cause the others to go into shock sometimes.
If you did. I'd pick them. Then dunk the cake for 12 hours. Then put it back in the fruiting chamber to start a new flush.

Are you printing these? If you are...next time just cut the cap off and the cake won't go into shock. That way the others will grow out. If your not printing...pick them all at once.

Depends on what flush you are on. 1st and 2nd flush...yes Anything after a 2nd flush you won't get as much...so why bother.
good luck!
