You harvest all fruits plus aborts. Harvest any mushroom that has opened slightly, or leave them to fully open if you want to take prints. Clean the casing of all mushrooms once they are mature enough (sometimes this happens in stages when they grow at different rates). None should be left for a second flush!
Great, thanks again _OttO_, for the sound advice!
Now, im going to take some pictures because it'll be much easier than me explaining how this casing layer currently looks. There is some patchy white myco on the surface and even on some of the fruits. I'm starting to think that perhaps my casing layer wasn't deep/dense enough and was just too shallow in these patchy spots. Any thoughts? I'll have pics in a bit...im gettin stoned at the moment.

dunk after your done harvesting all the fruit, then yes, re-patch up the casing for the 2nd flush
Very nice fruits btw for your first grow!

So let me get this right...let the cubes i left in the bucket grow for a couple/few more days. Then harvest the rest of them and clear the casing of all fruits/aborts. Then dunk the 'cake' in the bottom of the bucket. Then patch up the cratered casing and re-introduce to light/fruiting conditions?
Sorry for being such a newb

Just made an insomnia generated venture to procure a dehydrator. It seems to be a pretty base model with no adjustable settings. I put these harvested cubes in the dehydrator on the top rack...we'll see what happens.
Now to puff a bowl and catch some zzzzzzz's
sometimes, I wish I weren't such a night ...but then again, it does make for a good time to do all of these fun little projects!

Thats exactly right. You don't have to patch up the craters either if you don't want, I never do these days and it doesnt effect them much.
Nice fruits!! Enjoy

Lot of confusion today...and not because of the potency of these fruits, but for the lack of potency.
A couple of friends ate an 1/8oz. each last night with little to no psychoactive effects. Both 1/8's came from this second flush, and im trying to understand why these might not have been as potent as the first flush.
I'm using a dehydrator to dry these fruits. But that didn't seem to effect the mushies in the first batch either.
Any ideas? Also, i've heard/read some rumors that the 'Golden Teacher' strain is very inconsistent in its potency. Any truth to this?

Multispore is a lottery. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Even fruit-to-fruit the potency can vary.
Also, GT has been known to produce duds. Probably just an overdone strain or not very good to begin with.

well, after trying some of these teachers for myself im feeling very satisfied. No worries on the potency from me actually. made for a very interesting bike ride. They definitely weren't the strongest boomers i've experienced but they had about medium potency and medium duration. I'm going to continue to work with these guys but i've got several other strains in the works currently...next up is cambodian, I'm casing another bucket tonight so maybe i'll post some pics of its progress in this thread as well.
The third flush from the original bucket is almost done...a few nice fruits, but nothing like the first two flushes. I'll post some pics from that harvest in a couple of days.
So whats next? What is the next step for me to isolate some potent mushies outta these 'strains'. Cloning? Any pointers in the right direction are much appreciated ladies and gentlement!
