Need a simple light for my fruiting chamber, and was wondering if this would work in the uk seeing as its an american product? http://www.lampsplus.com/products/15-watt-daylight-6500k-cfl-twist-energy-star-light-bulb__35221.html ..also, would one per sgfc be ok?

I doubt any CFL intended for the US will work in the UK, your power mains are not like ours.
Is my understanding. I've never tried the experiment.

NA is 120/240 single phase at 60 hz UK is 220 at 50 hz.
the frequency wouldnt matter so much for lighting, but the voltage is too high, you would need a transformer to step down the voltage for it to work or you would blow the bulb.
is this for a FC for mushroom? if so, then you dont need much light at all , LEDs will make them fruit.

Cool, well Im gusing this would be what Im looking for? http://www.langtoninfo.co.uk/showitem.aspx?isbn=0043168853972 tho 15 quid per bulb seems a bit expensive really. An yeah this is for shrooms, penis envy.
Also, dose anyone have a source for winter rye in the uk? Shrooming products seem readily available in the US but its a real struggle to find the same in the UK.
Edit Was just checking ebay, an they seem to have the bulbs i need just at much cheaper prices, but theres so many different kinds I have no idea which one is right for me. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=cfl+daylight+bulb

Simply find a 'daylight' or '6500K' lamp suited to your country's power grid.
If you get a low wattage such as 13W, keep it pretty darn close to the tub. RR
