One of my all-time favorites! I prefer the version on "The Song Remains The Same", to anyone who says Jimmy Page is a sloppy guitar player I challenge them to match his solo on that version, it's impeccable.

couldnt be said better man... i ripped that live version of no quarter from the song remains the same straight from the DVD to an MP3 .. its one of the best live songs .. i love the wah effect

i Strongly suggest you listen to TOOL's version of "No Quarter" on their ep Salival. it's what Jimmy Page must have heard in his head when he wrote that riff...

Sheep dude, i was living in Calgary with a girl that i helped escape from a mental instiution in Montreal when that record came out......i think the only thing that kept us BOTH from going insane was listening to live Zep and killing a 26er of lemon gin between the two of us

i second that. tool's version was good, but it doesn't hold a candle to what led zep did with that song. don't take this the wrong way. both versions are great; one is better, though.
