Sometimes its good to take a step back, sometimes its good to dive in, whatever will happen will happen, the experience you need is the experience you will get, that's the middle path to me, beyond that you simply don't identify with anything
Totally. Lots of people, including myself till recently, think that going inward will lesson your chances of succeeding or getting laid. And it's not like that. At all.
Kickle I like your description of chakras, I've been working alot with energy centers as well. It's a very powerful tool for self transformation, and it's so insanely simply honestl. Strangely enough I think my higher chakras have been developed my whole life but I'm just now starting to really understand and awaken the lower ones...that might sound conceited but it's not good to always be up in your head if you've got all these barriers in your worldly energies.

What I mean to say really, is how does one cultivate the state of pure one-pointed attention onto the object of focus? I have been practicing but there seems to be no set way to keep it always going. And if you don't practice often enough the flow just disappears back into the hum drum of day to day life.
You can focus one pointedly on an object but the focus will always be broken as no object can stay permanently in your focus
The nature of focus/attention is dynamic so not ever truly 'one pointed', it can only be controlled one pointedly in meditation for a certain amount of time & it is always pointed on an object, the place of unity where everything flows together is behind/beyond that movement of attention as your own awareness which can't be held in focus as an object, you can only Be that.
The place where everything flows together is a place of unbroken unity so it can not be attained through the mind that thinks duality actually exists, the 'attainment' is realizing you are that unity already
