A complete government shutdown would likely be one of the best things for the USA.

good news!

I don't think so.  A complete government shutdown would be anarchy, and in my opinion :feelsbadman:.  It's funny that the senate and house will still be getting paid to bicker while other federal employees won't get paid.  Utter bullshit.  They should be held accountable for this clusterfuck.

I doubt complete anarchy. There would be plenty of groups willing to stand in to fill the spot, which is what most people would want. Great change would be unavoidable tho, for better or worse.

It wouldn't matter if senators and congressmen didn't get paid. Most all of them are a bunch of rich businessmen with or without their government jobs.

I wonder what will happen.  Imagine a scenario where welfare folks don't get their check and social security folks don't get paid either. Will there be a coup? or some sort of geizer, mother of 8 revolution?
