I get a better deal here for 3 bricks of Eco earth for 4 bucks and some change.
I think it comes strait from PETCO.12 bricks with shipping was like 24 bux .
If you pay 7 a brick ur at 28 before shipping for 12 brix.
I bought a case of 24 to but don't remember exactly how much it was but I remember it being cheaper for the more I bought. I don't know if shipping stays the same or what but that's the best deal I've found by far!
I'm stocked on shit as well
Good find and thanks for the link..
And to put everyone at rest.. I check his link and faked as if I was ordering 10 packs and or 30 bricks total.. My total was 37.90 plus 6.99 shipping for a total of $ 44.89
If you do the same with fosters it is a total of like $66.38
If I was anyone out there save both links and order from who ever is cheaper at the time because I know that at times Dr fosters runs specials and has free shipping and 50% of a total order over 100 bucks..

Haha, perhaps "myco piss"
Do you supplement your coir grows, or do you go straight coir?

1 brick of coir 2 quart of verm and normally 5 quarts of spawn but I use 4 some times...
Normally I prepare 10 jars at a time and use 1 to do g2g so that leaves me with 9, so 5 in one tub and 4 for the other..

I pour the boiled water in, wait ten minutes for the coir to expand, then shake the whole bucket in a circular motion to thoroughly mix everything. Wait a couple of hours to cool everything and voila.

I pour it in, leave it a few hours, go back and shake the fuck out of the bucket over my head.
I want to buy an old paint shaking machine that they use to shake the 5 gallon buckets. That'd be sweet.

coir is great and so is poo, poo is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more economical if u just call around and find it for free, you will have to do some digging around to find the field aged good stuff but its well worth it especially if you have a pick up truck to haul it. I really like the coco-tek(general hydroponics) 11 lb blocks, that cost 11$ where i live, that is the most economical coir i have found online or locally, the reptile bedding stuff is a huuuuuge rip-off.

I don't know if poo is worth it for us city folk being that gas is 4 dollars a gallon, so if you have to drive out of your way to get the poo, especally in a truck that only gets 15-20 miles to the gallon then you might as well pay the money for the coir to be shipped to your door.. Or just go buy some while your getting some dog food or cat food at the pet store..

you can usually find cheaper coco coir at hydroponics stores if you are lucky enough to have one in your area. $1.75 a brick i have no reason to hunting for horse shit although I have used it because a friend already had some nice dried out shit in bags. i am saving the shit for growing some pan cyans so i buy the coir for my cubes. both are great.

I have 40 jars colonizing as we speak, 20 are MS LC of PF Classic and 20 others are a Tx that I isolated out on petri, so we will see how it works and I may have to clone an actual fruit body..

yeah.. my coir grow that I had going now (chunky coir) gave a shitty first flush (40 grams, if that.. never buying the chunky again.. lol), but i they have plenty of knots, and they are being dunked right now.. as soon as I get a solid flush from it, im going to clone.. sub ended up drying out real bad.. but I have had these jars of BHT just sitting there, so i figured, "hey.. extra tub.. extra jars.. time to get coir.." haha
point being, chunky coir licks ass.. i had to get it, as it was all I could find in town at the moment.. but the shop has the fine coir now.. that shit is just dandy..
plus, I still have a bunch of grain spawn for g2g into 12 jars.. all z-strain.. teehee
