Any ideas for my little experiment?

Hello everyone,
I've made a thread some time ago about how I put too much water in my substrate. It turns out that nothing came out of it; there was no contamination but the jars stalled once they were almost fully colonized. I then bought a new syringe to start a new batch and as I was about to throw away the unsuccessful batch, I thought that I might as well keep them and try to save them.
I didn't really have a plan so I began by taking the cakes out of the jars. That was a pain in the a** and I finally decided to take a knife and cut them in pieces to help the removing process. I then decided to keep the driest bits, put them in two small containers and see what happens. I threw away the chunks that were too moist. There is no perlite or anything in the containers since I didn't have any at the time.
To my surprise, about 2 hours after I finished my setup, there was already condensation in the containers so I did small holes in the top with a nail and I put some micropore tape on the holes. I also put a book under one side of the containers to make the condensation fall away from the small "cakes". I also let the containers in my living room, under indirect sunlight.
Anyway, it's been 2 days now and the mycelium is starting to propagate on the previously uncolonized parts. I've joined two pictures of the setup.
Do you think the condensation could be a problem in containers this small? Also, do you have any tips or comments that could help me save these now precious survivors?
Thank you!

Were you using the tall jars? Or did you get a bad syringe?
-------------------- You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

As far as I can tell, the syringe was okay. IMO, I had problems because I've put twice the required amount of water (oops!)
I've used 1/2 pint jars.
