For my first grow, I've decided upon Ban Hua Thanon
cakes are almost fully colonized,
so looking forward to the rest of the process! its something i dont read much about here, which is one of the main reasons for me choosing it. :smile:

I have tried cambos and Treasure Coast so far..


Cambos are generally faster colonizers.. The shrooms are usually smaller than TC, but in my opinion a much nicer looking shroom. TC's have a wayyyyy more visual trip, cambos more mind fuck and body high.

TC's at least for me have had loadddddddsssss of aborts (and wayyyyy to many shrooms for all of them to come to maturity) Cambos usually much less so.

GT ROCKS!!!! I inoculated GT jars and fat stems (PF Classic) and the GTs colonized a full 2 weeks faster!!! I admit my substrates may not have been perfect or perfectly identical but damn, thats gotta say something. Plus it has a ropy ass mycelium, that shit could conquer the world, love it!!

well if there's one person to listen to on this thread it is RK.

for me SA and Amazon produce the most relaxed and colorful "viewing" but to each their own. everyone has their own favorites for different reasons.

lolz. given the right environment there are many strains that are just as, or more, rhizomorphic than the GT. you just gotta play with their balls the right way to get them excited.

The Cambodians are one of the best strains for Visuals and Colors...IME

The South Americans are almost as good...

Both the Cambo and the S.A.'s are very fast colonizers, fast fruiting, nice fruits, good yeilds if you are working with an isolate and have optimal growing conditions...etc etc etc.

They are 2 of my favorites strains.
