It's not that those on the right hate those on the left. It's more of a feeling of sadness that something could go so horribly wrong with the thought process of so many for so long.

It leaves us puzzled for example when some argue so eloquently for some rights, but have no cares at all for other rights.

It leaves us puzzled when everything is a conspiracy, each worse than the last.

And no, I'm not speaking for ALL the right, nor about ALL the left.

All you do is tell people to go read this or that when its obvious they alreay have and they are replying, regardless of the fact that you dont like their opinions, perhaps you should come up with some new saying, because that one just continues to show your ass and make me question your IQ when you like to whip it out in atleast one post in every single thread. Evidently yes.. darlin, that sure doesnt spell "somebody" in my book. Also, if you look back at your post... you asked me who I was, so I told you. As a typical American you have no sense of history and no respect for the people that came before you and contributed-- not who just got their jollies by fucking around in their prowar stance and telling people to go read or trying to discount people's opinions with childish put downs and some over inflated opinion of oneself. When you have no basis for conjecture, just call someone stupid or illiterate... oh yeah, that makes you look oh so worldly.

Maybe you should feel free to go back and read your own shit, I mean words, cause you dont ever seem to remember what you said, even in other threads where people do you the favor of directly quoting it for you. Then of course, you dont address the point at hand, you just call them stupid and usually tell them to go read.. heh, or if we are lucky you throw out some little quip like "No shit, Einstein *insert emoticon*

Just because you like to follow your comments with little j/k or emoticons the intent and just complete rudeness and obvious lack of respect for any differening opinions is still there, but finesse the mods a little.. that should save you.. or post just a fuckload and maybe all the blatent flames, lopsided opinions and lies you like to throw around will get buried in the mire. Could you just leave me personally the fuck alone, attack the content I have to deliver all you want.. but Im sick of this shit, I dont attack you personally anywhere in any thread before you feel the need to put your two cents in about me.

Again, so YOU can read it.. start responding to the topic at hand not just insulting people who hold a different viewpoint then you, because that is exactly what you keep doing over and over again. See, the funny thing is.. if you actually read through this forum, yes alot of us antiwar types are very passionate-- but the handful of you prowar types just like to smother the board in it and just attack people-- not nessecarily opinions and ideas, but people -- so often that it sometimes appears that you are the majority, not the minority. I was so confused by it until I started reading your posts and then I realized that this place wasnt as fucked up as I thought. We feel the same way, we have no idea how you can claim to love this country, yet sit by while it is being destroyed, this war is a symptom of that.

Like what rights, the right to smoke pot or do drugs? I think alot of us have put that on a back burner, we are fighting for our freedom from the patriot act as well as the freedom of a country not to get bombed into oblivion. We honestly believe that this war is not for the right reasons and even if you call the conspiracy theories, there are alot of people all over the world that feel the same way-- have you spoken to anyone outside of the us about what they think of americans and what we are allowing to happen right now?

And it bothers us when people dont question the media and the govt, when people take the words of Faux News, MSNBC etc as truth-- I mean, our media outlets have embedded journalists for christ sake!-- The other thing is that historically we find over and over again, way to late that we have been lied to-- Ie, operation northwood, cuban missle crisis, pearl harbor, my lai, watergate, iran contra, etc--- so, we question our govt and our news sources because they have proven that they cannot be trusted. Our news sources are owned by the same campaign contributers that make sure the top 2% stays okay while our unemployment rates, health care, educational system and economy flush down the drain... we are the ones that didnt believe the hype about how we killed a doctor, or lawyer or whatever in the anti drug ads... just like you. And we are questioning the fabric of this country's reality because people need to stop believing everything that the govt and media tell them. Im not saying that every conspiracy theory should be believed unconditionally, but maybe sometimes if you guys would give them a chance, would actually take the time to read with an open mind instead -- well, maybe you could understand where we are coming from.. because you cant dispute the govt has lied many times supported by the media of its time...

See, most of us are against this GOVT, not the people-- and we are pissed off that anyone could condone and support crooks and criminals leading this war of transgressions.

i realize you're a bit behind so i'll explain it to you.  He said Einstien was a very smart man and i said "No Shit Einstien" as a way or stating the obvious while injecting a little political comedy.  He knew what i meant, too bad you didn't.  Maybe that's why i didn't reply to you.

I'm always amazed when some angry bitter person decides by what I post here that he/she/it knows my life story and what I do or do not do. Hey, I'm not happy we went to war either. I do however think there was no viable alternative. Does that make me pro-war? To those who's mouth moves faster than their brains perhaps. And quite frankly, those are the people that I could care less what they think. Or those who claim the war is about one thing. Or who say stupid crap like it's a war against Islam, or genocide to the Iraqis.

You don't come here much I see. There are those here who think the answer to all the worlds problems is to have everybody get stoned. And there are those here who think it's OK to vote for a candidate who favors drug legalization no matter what their stance is on other issues.

It's not up to, and is prohibited by the constitution, the government to take care of any of those things.

As for conspiracies, I know there are some... too many in fact. Sadly there are those here who espouse the most lurid, foolish crap imaginable. Those are the ones we make fun of. And rightfully so.

You know, if you had that common courtesy time after time on these boards with not just myself, but may others then maybe this wouldnt be nessecary.  But someone needs to reign you in and obviously the mods arent doing that.. and if you feel the need to attack me personally in a public forum  Ill reply to it.  I mean, duh-- why dont you go read your replies in the beginning of this thread -- try looking at post  #1425466 for some reference, you are also more then welcome to read the posts before it and after it.
