It's not that those on the right hate those on the left. It's more of a feeling of sadness that something could go so horribly wrong with the thought process of so many for so long.
It leaves us puzzled for example when some argue so eloquently for some rights, but have no cares at all for other rights.
It leaves us puzzled when everything is a conspiracy, each worse than the last.
And no, I'm not speaking for ALL the right, nor about ALL the left.

We feel the same way, we have no idea how you can claim to love this country, yet sit by while it is being destroyed, this war is a symptom of that.

Like what rights, the right to smoke pot or do drugs? I think alot of us have put that on a back burner, we are fighting for our freedom from the patriot act as well as the freedom of a country not to get bombed into oblivion. We honestly believe that this war is not for the right reasons and even if you call the conspiracy theories, there are alot of people all over the world that feel the same way-- have you spoken to anyone outside of the us about what they think of americans and what we are allowing to happen right now?

And it bothers us when people dont question the media and the govt, when people take the words of Faux News, MSNBC etc as truth-- I mean, our media outlets have embedded journalists for christ sake!-- The other thing is that historically we find over and over again, way to late that we have been lied to-- Ie, operation northwood, cuban missle crisis, pearl harbor, my lai, watergate, iran contra, etc--- so, we question our govt and our news sources because they have proven that they cannot be trusted. Our news sources are owned by the same campaign contributers that make sure the top 2% stays okay while our unemployment rates, health care, educational system and economy flush down the drain... we are the ones that didnt believe the hype about how we killed a doctor, or lawyer or whatever in the anti drug ads... just like you. And we are questioning the fabric of this country's reality because people need to stop believing everything that the govt and media tell them. Im not saying that every conspiracy theory should be believed unconditionally, but maybe sometimes if you guys would give them a chance, would actually take the time to read with an open mind instead -- well, maybe you could understand where we are coming from.. because you cant dispute the govt has lied many times supported by the media of its time...
See, most of us are against this GOVT, not the people-- and we are pissed off that anyone could condone and support crooks and criminals leading this war of transgressions.

I'm always amazed when some angry bitter person decides by what I post here that he/she/it knows my life story and what I do or do not do. Hey, I'm not happy we went to war either. I do however think there was no viable alternative. Does that make me pro-war? To those who's mouth moves faster than their brains perhaps. And quite frankly, those are the people that I could care less what they think. Or those who claim the war is about one thing. Or who say stupid crap like it's a war against Islam, or genocide to the Iraqis.

You don't come here much I see. There are those here who think the answer to all the worlds problems is to have everybody get stoned. And there are those here who think it's OK to vote for a candidate who favors drug legalization no matter what their stance is on other issues.
