Acacia Bark drying.
    #14240012 - 04/05/11 02:27 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

Hey guys,
just a quick question.

Today I obtained around 500 grams of fresh Acacia Obtusifolia bark from a sustainable source, was wondering the quickest and most efficient way of drying the bark to prepare it for an extraction.

Thanks in advance,

peace.

rip into thinner threads and place in sun or use fans.  mold is a big issue when drying thick bark.

Thanks for the advice,

unfortunately the weather here is pretty unfavourable, so I ccut the bark into 2 cm strips, put them on a baking tray and put them in a fan forced oven at around 50degree's C for a few hours, did the trick

Thanks again,

peace.

that works well too, but costs a lot if your doing more bark.  warm, dry, moving air all are best for drying.
