Teens getting high off "trip(lucid) dreams"

Kids are falling into their own minds. The longer they fall in,the longer it takes them to readjust to the real world. Eventually they'll be a hollow shell of their former selves.
Should lucid dreaming be banned? After all, this is one drug we can't tax.

i can do all kinds of cool shit in lucid dreams except for get laid.

the moment i manifest some cooter to pound i wake up.
which reminds me of a dream i had last night (not lucid). i was in a chemistry lab doing something (what it was specifically i dont remember) and some hot girl walked up and asked me to fuck her.
i said no and went back to whatever i was doing in the lab....
i woke up and was like

I can Manifest, get in AND get off.
This was one of the hardest things to do in a lucid dream before...I used to wake up right when I got the girl in bed.

i dunno you just realize youre dreaming and then you can do whatever you want. all you gotta do is think it.
it goes from being a movie which you remember when you wake up to being an activity.
some of the things i do while lucid dreaming arent what i intend to happen though.
the first time i had a lucid dream i was standing outside of a mini mart at a gas station and thought "well, what if zombies show up, that would suck" and out of nowhere zombies burst out of the mini mart.
i escaped them by flying to the moon. it was awesome.

I've only ever had one lucid dream, and it was barely lucid at all. I couldn't control it and it was vague but I knew that I was dreaming. Forgot the dream when I woke up, but I knew that I had a lucid dream. I've never had one since even though I've been trying for years.

I have always remembered my dreams and lucid dream all the time. Honestly it's so common I miss a lot of good sleep over it. I wake up screaming all the time because I'm usually fighting or running from something. I use to never lucid dream, but I learned how to meditate so deep I guess I just oPened my mind to it.

Try this: For one month, pick several cues throughout your day, like driving in a car, opening a door, or feeling sun on your face. (It's best if you can choose things you know you're likely to experience in a dream) and anytime those things happen, question if you are dreaming or awake. Don't just go "Duh, of course I'm awake" but think of the facts that allow you to be sure that you are in fact awake. For instance, I know I'm awake right now because I remember waking up, what I had for breakfast, running out to do errands, I feel my stomach growling. I can look at the clock and I expect it to be about 6:00pm...yep, it's 6:23. The idea is eventually you start doing this "reality check" process in your dreams as a habit, since your waking habits carry over into your dreams.
I used this method successfully for several months a few years back. Also, don't smoke pot if you're serious about wanting to lucid dream(or having any dream recall whatsoever) and try to sleep on your back.

I love lucid dreaming and have found lots of different ways to achieve it. The most successful way for me? Take the day off. If you normally wake up at six thirty on a work/school day, then get up at the normal time on a day you normally work. Go shower or whatever (optional: do some drug, nothing that will keep you awake though), then go back to sleep at six fifty. It's all about the REM.

IMO A really good way to get them is by staying up for an extended period of time. Stay up all night and go to sleep at 5:00 AM. If you do that a few times I guarantee you'll have one.

How much do you reckon when you're talking in dreams do you actually talk in real life? I've been known to talk in my sleep a bit.
Wanted list:
Teleportation Shapeshifting Telekinesis
Have:
Ability to induce psychedelic states on the spot Flying Getting some Flying while getting some Improved skateboard ability/risk taking
A howl of a time mostly. A few times I've been fighting alright but nothing major.
Anyone have any to trade?

Already got all your haves and wants and then some. I really like freaking out the dream characters with my super powers. It's like my own private playground in which I am a demi god. Like playing one of those open ended rpgs (think elder scrolls) but in addition to be able to do whatever the fuck I want have have god mode, maxed level, all spells, etc.

I was always this way but lately I'm dreaming as much as ever and maybe every couple is a lucid dream but they always seem to be a fleeting moment so I really don't have much time before I wake up to get a good plan going. This is with smoking as normal too.

I only wish I were kidding. I didnt realize how absurd that sounded till I saw it in writing...but I actually do it.

I get sleep paralysis all the time but a mix between the two almost, because while I am paralyzed I can fly and shit and look and see stuff. But I am always paralyzed which . I can kind of guide the dream its really odd. Sometimes I can almost escape the paralysis.
For example last night as I floated out of my bedroom and off to my parents wooded farm area, and flew around the area for quite a bit. Couldn't move anything but I could fly.
Its really trippy but also really cool. I usually end up freaking out because of the paralysis and that ends it

Haha, one of the first times I was able to fly I spent the whole time trying to teach my buddies how to do it. I'd be sitting on a wardrobe and just float to the other side of the room. "All you to do is believe!", I'd tell them. No dice, they couldn't do it.

My lucid dreams are always about sex. Last time I had one I realized I was dreaming in a dream where I was watching porn on my laptop. I tried to walk into the screen to fuck the girl.

They conform to your rules and expectations though. YOU have to believe they can fly in order for them to fly. You mustve had some doubt hiding deep inside you that no, in fact, they could not break the dreamworld physics and fly.

Most of my lucid dreams I'm still playing out the narrative of the dream, just enhanced with my spiritual abilities.
A few nights ago I was tied up and manifested my spiritual form and annihilated my captors with umbrakinesis (the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness). It was fun.
Most of my horrific nightmares end up with me fighting back pretty hard

Before psychedelics there was a time when I failed classes in college due to my obsession with lucid dreaming.

I had a lucid dream recently where I was like "wait, why am I in a subway?" I decided to try and escape, but there were guys like everywhere trying to kill me. I had to shoot my way out.
Once I got out, I decided to fly. It was legit.

Maybe some of you more accomplished dreamers can give me some pointers:
About a year ago I developed the ability to have sleep paralysis. I actually think I have narcolepsy because - Always tired even if I have a good sleep - Cannot ever fall asleep easily even though I am dead tired - Get sleep paralysis upon induction of sleep, not the other way around - Feel like I could pass out asleep right now even though I got a good sleep.
But anyways, I am trying to turn the sleep paralysis into a more lucid dreaming experience - I have had some luck (like last night) but its hard to break out of the paralyzed state and not wake up but start a lucid dream instead.
I am keeping a dream journal, and wrote an "A" on my hand so throughout the day when I see it I try to think of the reasons why I know I am awake right now and not dreaming.
Any suggestions, especially for when I am paralyzed? As I start falling asleep I start vibrating, and then I drift off and am in sleep paralysis mode. It always used to be simply sleep paralysis but lately its ALWAYS accompanied by heavy heavy vibrations and I usually start flying but if I am going to leave my body it always just happens and I do not get a choice in it - how do I leave my body with my will instead?

You are sleeping with your eyes open and doing accidental travel, you arent lucid dreaming. Ive done that before a few times and its scary shit. Its not something I really like to do.

No I know that. Thats why I want to figure out how to turn it into a lucid dream. That is an OBE. But for example last night I don't know how it happened but I was able to fly outside and then fly over my parents and stuff.

What i noticed was that everything started vibrating and i heard a hum. I was in my room but it was exactly my room and not distorted like it was in dreams. Everything got almost monocrhome and I started to float up feeling tingly all over and hearing a strange buzzing sound. I could float through the ceiling and I passed right through it, it felt cold as I passed through objects like that. I was sometimes afraid of getting stuck halfway but once I breached the object in question I could. I keep going up and up. in these types of experiences there isnt much controlling the flight its either snap yourself up or try to divert the course a little but you're going straight up.
I think this only happens if you fall asleep with your eyes open and get that waking paralysis though. Usually we leave our bodies when we dream but you're awake to witness it...gotta be terrifying stuff.

Being fully aware when your body and spirit are separated, especially if you weren't expecting it to happen, is a pretty terrifying experience.
Most people get over it fast because astral projection is so fun.

Yeah thats what happened - Just always move somewhere. At first it was fucking SCARY but you get more used to it - it still usually freaks me out but I lots of times manage to control that fear.
Last night was different though - as I felt myself rising I shut my eyes and I could feel myself flying high. When I opened them I was flying over my parents place, only it was different. I was able to control where I flew etc but I wasn't really thinking straight and I flew about for a bit before I don't remember anything else (I think I woke up and then fell back asleep). But I definately knew I was dreaming and it was the weirdest experience. I am used to sleep paralysis / OBE, not lucid dreaming. But it intrigues me and I am trying to learn how to turn my sleep paralysis into lucid dreaming

A dream journal will make a huge difference, mainly to dream recall but also to the ability to navigate that moment where you realize you're dreaming but then tend to immediately pop out of it.
Not smoking pot is critical.
5HTP has also worked wonders in the past for me for promoting sleep paralysis and its associated phenomenon. I stumbled into sleep paralysis the first time after taking 50 or 100mg 5HTP a few nights, shortly before bed.
Hopefully others have some good suggestions too as I have come to have such viscerally intense sleep paralysis since my first episode 14 or so years ago that it's tough to navigate. I usually come into lucid awareness in the course of a normal dream, not as a transition from sleep paralysis.

Man I've actually bought LSD in one of my dreams, been at festivals in others, then in one of my most memorable lucid dreams I actually took 5 hits of LSD and tripped my face off, lol it was super intensely real! Woke up wondering if someone dosed me in my sleep!

Is it possible to induce a lucid dream or do they just "happen"?
Ive had 4 in my life that i can recall to this day. They were all quite the trip

Charlie Sheen was in my dream a minute ago,not much winning like we're used was going on though. He was in good form but he was sober. Not lucid.
The one before that I was climbing some impossibly steep marram grass hill with an old friend. Half way up I told him turn back as it was getting to be a joke,we had to grab the grass for dear life to prevent us falling. He said it was fine and we took a few more steps and suddenly we were at the top and were back to civilisation.
What, maybe in some situations in real life where I feel the risk is too big,I should have faith in others' decisions?
