I challenge you to challenge yourself more! When you feel complacent and ready to hang it up, challenge yourself to get over it! If you fail, don't look at it as you didn't succeed, look at it as you would a rock face you're trying to climb. Stand back, wayyyy back, and look at it and plot another path. If you can't find one, shuffle down the way a little, a little change of scenery or a view from a different angle may give you the insight you need.

60+ views and no assistance? Not even a "you're a jackass and did it wrong"?

It's a culminations of jars that had molded or got bacteria. I tossed them all in a tub with straw and ashes to get a little compost action. It's growing on the straw, it probably rode in on it. I'll check those out.

Thank you

I don't believe it is a large enough fruiting body to be Peziza vesiculosa... I have no clue what it is.

Yeah they seem kinda small. They feel almost like a snowball when you squeeze them and they break apart. That is as good an analogy as I could come up with lol.

Any clue as to the species of oyster those are?

There's gills, they were found on a dead Turkish nut tree I believe. Gills are white, the cap kinda had a bumpy texture to it. We find tons of these and when they dry out they smell like popcorn. Super fishy smell fresh tho and really good fried.
