Other information: jelly type fungus found in compost pile of bacteria and mold infected substrates

maybe peziza vesiculosa or peziza domiciliana is this a grow gone wrong

It's a culminations of jars that had molded or got bacteria. I tossed them all in a tub with straw and ashes to get a little compost action. It's growing on the straw, it probably rode in on it. I'll check those out.

I don't believe it is a large enough fruiting body to be Peziza vesiculosa... I have no clue what it is.

Yeah they seem kinda small. They feel almost like a snowball when you squeeze them and they break apart. That is as good an analogy as I could come up with lol.
Any clue as to the species of oyster those are?

There's gills, they were found on a dead Turkish nut tree I believe. Gills are white, the cap kinda had a bumpy texture to it. We find tons of these and when they dry out they smell like popcorn. Super fishy smell fresh tho and really good fried.
