Humidifier Idea

okey so im about to do a grow soon and im gonna be making myself a humidifier for my tubs for my fae and humidity. i came up with this design while doing research on just simple humidifiers and ones on here that agar originally made.. and ive come up with a design kind in the middle of everything.
First of all has 2 bubble stones for lots of bubbles and oxygen so it gets alot of moisture in the air. plus im gonna do a wet towl as a wick affect. so as long as its in water and theres wind it should contently keep putting more moisture in the air i.e. humidity. i will plan to have that running 24/7 and plan to get a precision timer to run the fogger 10 to 15 mins every hour. pending on the size of the setup and everything.
just letting you guys take a look. tell me what you think..
EDIT after all this i forgot to put in a water heater. like an aquarium styled on to keep everything around 75-80.
also i was thinking about mounting my lights in my tubs something like this http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14237006/gonew/1#UNREAD(bottom of page) would that make it too hot in there or too close for the lights? or too bright? j/w. you may wonder why this may seem over complicating things in a way but once its setup i dont have alot of time to watch these kinds of things so. kind of trying to go more automated.. thanks guys..

You're making way too much trouble out of it. I was the same way when I first grew shrooms.
I assume you're doing the PF tek, which works okay and isn't very challenging. If you want to do it properly, follow the instructions in the videos on this site http://www.mushroomvideos.com/ Do not build you waste of time magic mushroom machine (which will overheat and kill your mycelium,) make a shotgun fruiting chamber like in the video, it works even in the driest climates.
If you really want an easy, set-and-forget method of growing shrooms, then make yourself a monotub. It's less work than the PF tek, it yields more mushrooms, and isn't much more difficult than PF.
With a monotub, you make the job of growing mushrooms as easy as it can possibly be.

i am planning on doing monotubs and im plaining on doing grain not the pf tek. and it is kinda complex.. but it should work right and deff wont over heat anything just wondering if its completely necessary.. i mean i kinda want a cheap method but i know if i build it myself i can make it do what i want..

you have a cheap method, WBS spawned to monotub's are money..easier then doing cakes in my opinion.

I would just make a simple monotub, or a Shotgun Fruiting Chamber, and use trays, just mist an fan 3-5 times a day...with a monotub you can set and forget it, or you can mist and fan it once or twice daily

you dont have to, you can mist, then fan in the morning for 2 minutes before work, and 3-4 minutes after work, or before bed..

gotcha..and just leaving an isolating fan or something on during the day? and hey man what do you think about putting the lights inside the tubs instead of using clear tubs? have you ever tried or you think itd get to hot or something?

You can but you have to do it like this: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/12996078/fpart/1/vc/1

It's called a pmp if you're looking for designs and all it really requires is the fish tank bubbler. Forget the towel for sure and probably the humidifier.

nah man im not tryin to go the poor mans pod way or even the standard fan and mist. for one im doing grains and tubs and wouldn't work that way. i need to try and make some automated. by the way thanks for the link Psilocyentist. exactly what i needed. and the towel will wick effect will work. people do it with a bowl of water and a towl if i have it in a constant flow of air and contently in water i should deff be raising humidity levels with my bubble stones also.. plus with 5 disk ultrasonic fogger goin with all that i should keep stuff right around 100rh and 73-82 degrees. which would be optimal.

someone woke up on the wrong side of the cock today..
anyway......
straight up, go with the shotgun or a monotub..
im actually running a 2-tub setup with a cool mist and perlite, cool mist runniing 24/7.. works fine.. but for a monotub, you dont even need that.. its totally "set and forget".. lol..
nice diagram, though.. maybe keep it in mind if you are building a big ass martha.. it could come in handy..

My mood is great, actually. Sometimes I forget that my words are more difficult to interpret in the form of text, what with the lack of inflection and body language.
Didn't mean to come off as an asshole, and I'm sorry that I did, swope, but my advice stands.

I didn't think you were being an asshole. I thought it was excellent advice.
Why would you want a towel, a fishpump, and a humidifier? OP are you trying to make this as needlessly complicated as possible?
If you want to pump a humidifier into a monotub, then do it. But lose the other stupid shit, i.e. towel and fishpump.

you don't want 100%rh all the time. one of the pinning triggers is evaporation, which is why you fan after misting.
