Everyone I've heard from tells me they love looking at HB spores under the microscope as well.
I don't know why but everyone tells me they are crazy!!!
I'll have 4 packs of HB, OI, PE6, and AUSSIE (spore syringes in the -- soon) A HOPA pack...
HOPA == == HOT PIECE OF A$$

I guess those pins were a hoax! They were all growing from the dry verm layer that wasn't fully colonized. I ended up removing quite a few of them along with the entire dry verm layer in order to avoid contamination in my chamber. I'm sure they'll still pin later.
I had made my GE holes in the top of that jar a little bigger than normal just to test how much of a difference it made. Most of those pins seemed to be growing up towards the holes. One was even poking his head out.
I had about 1.5g of fresh pins. They were nummy!

Either way, I'm not picky. B+ would be highly welcomed . I will have 3 strains to choose from.
And I'm sure from 10 jars you could make enough prints for a small army.
I should have had one by now, I had an invitro pin on a cake that I birthed and fruited. I harvested too early. So now my growing is at a stand still until one of my guys starts droppin love. I have tons of WBS, newly crafted Polyfill/Self-healing lids, 3lbs of Light Malt Extract for LC's. Just NO spores. UGH.

I'll happily trade you a b+ prints for a print of yours and a pic of which shroom the print belonged to. My b+ was really slow but fruited really nice outdoors. EDIT: I meant the pic of the shroom+it's print for your HB print.

Haha, well my first jars were going so slow. I decided it'd be best to try to time them so while one was fruiting another was rounding 50% and to inoculate another set at the same time. This way I could have a constant stream going.. but it didn't work that way. The EQ's caught up to my B+'s and so I had to birth them within a week of each other. The hillbillies, which I didn't expect to be done until the beginning of May, were already finished and now need to be birthed.
I just wasn't prepared for them! I'm still trying to figure out the right mist/fanning schedule for my other cakes. I'm nervous that they all went off at the same time. I feel that I'm going to have very low yields for the amount of cakes/spores I used.

Haha, well if this keeps up I might start doing monotubs of hillbillies and playing with other strains using the PF tek.

you know if it's that fast, and pinning in the jar, i would go ahead and put a couple in a SGFC just for a test, leave the rest in the jar. with it that fast i wouldn't worry about contams so much. and you don't want to lose to much weight from the sub by pulling of pins pre-frush. in the name of science. experiment.

That's what I did. =)
I didn't decide this until I saw that the pins were growing out of the dry verm layer which wasn't 100% colonized.. it was very flakey.. no idea how they were growing there. The ones that had huge pins I took out of the jars and started their dunk. I had to pick a lot of the pins off because they were still in the dry verm layer and I didn't want any of that to contaminate in my chamber.
It turned out to be exactly half that I dunked. The other half are still in their jars. I've covered them so they can't receive any light (but still enough gas exchange) and put them in the coldest place I could find. I'm hoping they will consolidate here without pinning anymore.
I should have a lot of little mushies from them, though.. these guys are pinning more than anything in my chamber thus far!
