Weekend use of ketamine

I have recently found doing a little bit (around 50mg) of ketamine mixed with alcohol to be an enjoyable combo. Is this a bad idea? Would it be damaging for my brain to do this about once a week? Probably not every weekend but occasionally mixing these two?
Thanks -Giga

That would be incredibly dangerous. Ive NEVER done ketamine, but its definetely not something to do weekly let alone regularly. if you must do drugs weekly i think psychedelics and good ol' cannabis would be the least harmful. Not that i have ever done those either. If your gonna do Ketamine definetely don't drink with it. If you wanna get crazy do some K with some psychedelics. But you definetely shouldn't make a habit of doing dissociatives, just research the effects habitual use has on your brain. Drinking with Ketamine is just asking for respiratory failure and X_X you know.

The only health problems I can recall are kidney problems but that was with daily users of 6mo+. Like Spores said, I would be careful of respiratory issues. Just don't be drinking a lot
And once a weekend can quickly become 7 times a week if you're not careful

Wow, you're a real worry wart aren't you?
The only problem you're going to run into doing a little K every weekend or so will be addiction (and obviously damage to the sinuses). If this isn't a problem for you with alcohol or weed, it probably won't be a problem with K.
Recommending that some one take acid (or 'psychedelics' in general) every weekend over a mild, short acting dissociative anesthetic is ridiculous. Taking acid every weekend is a great way to become a totally derailed loser or worse, tour rat.

Ya I used to trip a lot, still do occasionally but I just don't really feel the need to rush heaven and bend my mind with long lasting psychedelics as much anymore. much more enjoyable and rewarding when done sparsely I feel. Ketamine to me is more recreational and fun, have some good times and good conversations and more fun than just alcohol alone, which I don't really enjoy tooo much. but ya, just trying to make sure I won't be doing something i'll regret later in the form of a damaged brain and such. 50 mg is a pretty small dose and it wouldn't be everyweekend, just every so often is the plan.

I always thought I'd like to use low doses of ketamine in place of alcohol. But I've never had a steady supply...Only got to try it twice. I don't think I know enough ravers.

K isn't that dangerous, especially at the levels the OP is using it (probably snorting it too which is a waste imo). It has been used in medicine for decades and if you want something psychedelic that will blow your mind even more than a breakthrough DMT/LSD trip then the k-hole is where you'll find out what death and being on another plane of existence is like, and well, it's better than any of the serotonergic trips I've had.
The only people who suffer any urinary tract problems don't take care of themselves during their binges. If you stay hydrated plenty and eat food and get rest (even drink some green tea as it's a great antioxidant) you won't have any problems. I haven't had k-pains in over a year and it was only one time when I wasn't staying hydrated and drinking electrolytes. Since then I've done heinous doses over 24-36 hours and felt nothing but fantastic afterwards. It's used to treat depression, addiction, and windup pain on a regular basis so researchers are finally realizing it's a lot better than just being an anesthetic.

K + drinking? Did that retarded combo once, back in the time I used to drink a lot.Drank around 6 beers, then someone offered me a insulin syringe containing 100mg ketaminol hcl. No doubt I took it,IMed it. Couldn`t control my body, crossed vision, went down on the floor, puked my ass off,I was breathing way to slow,to the point that I actually though I`m gonna die of suffocation. Worst hangover of my life the next day. Stick to ketamine alone And don`t be afraid to do bigger dosages,k-hole is a awesome experiecne.

More than a couple of drinks is definitely going to have you hugging the toilet... actually you'll probably just puke all over yourself since you can't really ambulate at all.

Ketamine isn't a dangerous drug at all, especially when used at low doses, and it doesn't really have too much addiction potential compared to other drugs if you use it every other weekend. After trying it once I was skeptic, because it was so strange, but I came to like it a little better every time I've done it since and now I love it, but don't do it often and don't feel an urge to. I am not in any way interested in k-holing, either. I like it in small doses combined with other trippy stuff. One of my favorite combos is about 40-50 nasal mgs of ketamine on top of MDMA (not at same time, around or shortly after the MDMA peak). I found that when I lay down and close my eyes I have the most colorful surreal but vivid dreams that I stay fully in control of. Sort of like taking a stroll through a landscape painted by Salvador Dali. It's bitchin awesome.

I had a great time on ketamine and a high (for me) dose of LSD. It was probably my favorite drug combo next to the candyflip. And honestly at this point I would prefer ketamine to mdma; ketamine is so relaxing in those lower nasal dosages. MDMA is a stimulant and I tend to not like having my heart rate and blood pressure increased like that.
A shot of 100mg to the thigh is something I definitely need to try one day though...

What he said. Also alcohol and K can be fatal in large doses because of respiratory failure.

Yeh, I would say that it'd be best to leave the alcohol out of it. If you're only doing SMALL amounts of alcohol (a few beers) you'll be ok, but getting *drunk* and doing K really is kind of just asking for vomitty bad times
K+MDMA truly is an unparalleled combo. Same goes for K+ anything else really. It's the great enhancer.

Amen. I have almost three decades of drug use experience, but that combo is one of my favorites, hands down. I don't think I've ever felt more content and at peace with the World, ever.

Yeah. I love going clubbing and at my peak doing a large line of K, then dancing holding onto a railing with my eyes shut seeing the most fucked up things imagineable in VIVID VIVID color.
