Well OK, if we're mucking up Bob's thread by posting our own pics of Corts, here's one from me

Wow! Great thread... What more can I say about your photography Bob, it's inspiring! Look at all these people busting out their Cort pics now.. Good stuff. Alan, every time you bust out those Cortinarius vanduzerensis shots they catch my attention. Such an amazing looking specimen.

I'm really fond of the orange-red gilled varieties.
Thanks Lord Mayo; that means a lot coming from you. The red gilled ones are quite photogenic...the Dermocybes Fry was bitchin' about.

Thanks! These are old shots; no noms please! I call them Cortinarius semisanguineus. Here's the camera I use...

That's a pretty one, Blue-FunGuy. I like the purple ones.
Thanks for the contributions, Stopwhispering. That second one is really cool looking!
Thanks for posting, Alan. I love those Cortinarius vanduzerensis shots...especially the last one.
Thanks, TimmiT. The ones with the acute umbo are stellar!
Great color, Shock. Thanks for the nomination. I'll start posting new photos in 21 days.
Love that shot, Thinker!
That is a beautiful speciman, Oreganic. I'm jealous.

Awesome photos in this thread! Great stuff as always Bob!
With the use of a scope is it fairly easy to ID corts?
