PF-Tec Prof could use some support 2

A few months ago i came in touch with the Prof his wife, Micki, who is battling cancer herself, and was sad to to hear the Prof isn't doing great to say the least. His liver is still fading away and a liver transplant was denied due to smoking pot in the past. He struggled for 3 years now and nobody even knows about it. As a novice in mycology, the PF-Tek was, and is still today, the main advice given to newbies. I had to do something.
I start emailing with Micki and posting bits and pieces of it on Mycotopia, and came up on the idea to make a combined "Get Well Card". (Link to the thread at the bottom). The idea is to collect all the happy vibes for the Prof and his wife, combine it in 1 large email i sent to Micki, who then can print them out for the Prof. You find the pdf i (we) sent to micki all so in the the thread.
Is it possible to do the same thing here on Shroomery.org? One person like a Mod.. collecting nice words for the Prof and post a pdf on the board? I will be more than happy to sent it to micki and keep everybody here updated about the prof's well being?
The author of the Tek should not be faded away like this. He is not asking for anything, i offered some money as a couple of other people did, but i got no responds from that so, kind words and good vibes goes a long way i guess.

PS I PM'd RR about where to place this thread among other things, and The Pub looks obvious but considering the topic i feel it is more in it's place here in Cultivating.

I wish them both a speedy recovery.
Thanks for the PM before posting, since it's 'officially' off topic here. However, it will get more attention from growers in this forum, which is why I approved it.
Be well prof. RR

I wouldn't have fruits if it wasn't for his tech so I greatly appreciate his help!
I wish them both well! It always sucks to hear news like this.
I also don't mind putting together a PDF of all the kind words that are shed here at the Shroomery. If you could just keep a text list of all of them and show me how you'd like the layout to look.

@ RR my idea too, thanks RR
@ Cynosure, thank you ! The hole idea is to support the Prof in an anonymous way, just to let him and his wife know they are not alone... and that we care.
His tec is copied and adjusted in numerous ways and is still the base of mycology home grown for starters and the base of ..well..more.
He stumbled on a working formula and shared it to the world. He tried building a mushroom farm until the Feds (LEO) shut him down and he still shared the info.
He is paying the ultimate price for that.
No hoax, or what ever. Just post kind words here to the Prof and his wife, and if no mod, or any one else, is available, i copied/paste it myself.

Prof: I would like to say thank you for your contributions to mycology and your drive to teach people how to grow mushrooms at home. Standing up and fighting the way you have done over the years is a very admirable thing to do, I appreciate your passion and hard work.
My heart goes out to you, your wife and family at this time, I hope you guys get well very soon.
Best wish's

horrible news, man. Prof, I stumbled upon a printed copy of your tek at the pubic library 'bout 13 years ago. Someone must have stuck it in with the gardening books, it was'nt stamped by the library, lol! I borrowed it---for a few years. (I eventually returned it to the library. 2500 miles away)but my point is, myself and many friends have enjoyed the fruits of the knowledge you imparted to us, for, well, 13 years now. I owe you and the person who left the book at the library a debt of gratitude, as had it not been there that day, I doubt I would be enjoying this wonderfull hobby. I wish you and your wife and family nothing but the best. kinda breaks my heart to hear this news. Get well. Soon! Peace.

As a noob, and after reading the above, I just wanted to say, that I hope the best for you and your family. The PF Tek is still in use here and has kept me interested in this hobby. I use PF Tek to check LC's B4 bulk.

This is terrible news. I truly hope things turn around for you. Such a sad thing to be denied for smoking marijuana which is socially acceptable everywhere now adays, when will things change. I hope you get better soon. My best of wishes goes out to you and your loved ones.
Sincerely yours

Thanks for all the kind words! I am sure they smile when they read the card. Even if it is for just a moment, it is worth it.
