I'm also looking at pollyfill.
http://www.amazon.com/Morning-Glory-20-Ounce-Premium-Fiberfill/dp/B0040ZOOIU/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1302069684&sr=1-2
Is 20 ounces (a little over a lb) good enough for 3-4 monotubs or should I get a five pound bag for $3 more?
i spent 3 bucks on a bag of polyfil... go to a craft store for that. dont order it online.

I live in the midwest. Hard to track stuff down. It's free shipping if you make a total purchase of $25. I'm spending around $60 for agar supplies included.

2 hydroponic stores in my area sell it for $2.50 a brick, that's a great price for getting it shipped!

perhaps the cheapest coir you're gonna find online. They used to offer free shipping on this item but not anymore, still a damn good deal especially if you're already ordering other items from them(ie; needles, syringes, etc). I used to get my coir exclusively from them until my local pet shop started carrying the 3pk at the same price($6.99). Plus I work at a local animal hospital, which does all their health certificates and spay/neuters, so I get a nice little discount at their store in return
