I like to get them started as soon as possible, our climate has a pretty late last frost so we have to make up for that by planting as soon as possible. But yeah.

Yes! i know what you mean. Usually i would have my seedlings going like 2 months early.. sometime this week will be when i put mine out last year.. Looks like some of my seedlings are drying out for some reason? wierd. I'm happy as long as i have 5 healthy plants.. should work out good.

Well they where lookin perfect right after transplant then the first true leaves started growing all skinny and they look super dried out for some reason I have gone from 11 to 8 then I gave one away and now I have 2 weaker ones ( the dry lookin ones, its not horrible but they look like there gonna grow weird) and 5 going strong. 5 is a good number, I hope to keep it at this.

Your right about going easy on the feeding until they kick off.More than likely when you transplanted the small root system was damaged and the roots can't supply enough water to the first fan leaves so get them in a humid enviroment and mist and no feeding at all

Just got 3 5 gallon buckets and drilled holes for drainage, krylon camouflage paint for the buckets, and 5 bags of black gold. Now I have to wait for the weather to get a little better and I'm set At my spot I already have half a bag of soil, a 10 gallon and a 4 gallon waiting.
