Cubase?

I have Windows ME.
I want Cubase. Am I screwed? I know that SX is only for XP and 2000... any other versions that I could use?

Any other high-end Software recommendations similar to Cubase?

I use cubase vst32 R5, it does pretty much everything I need it to anyway.

I'm curious too... whats wrong and or better than cubase. Cakewalk? which I'm not a big fan of.
