how to humidify this?

my friends getting a greenhouse from cactusgarden.net. any advice on how to set up the humidifier to this and which brand and size to use. my friend is thinking about running pvc pipe along the sides with holes drilled in it to distribute the mist.
just looking for opinions on the setup. thanks.

Use a vicks cool mist and put the inlet at the top of the greenhouse. Air with a lot of humidity is heaver and this will keep the humidifier from having to push the humidity to the top of the greenhouse.

you think he would even need the pvc pipe then? or could he just put one hose at the top and that would cover it?

Humid air is not heavier, but we won't get into this again... think about clouds! You do want to have the 'cool mist' dispersed at the top though, since the 'cool' air will sink.

ok what should he do for air exchange? just leave the hole at the bottom or what?

One wise person said to put poylfill stuffed holes on the bottom of the chamber, and a small fan blowing up from the bottom for air exchange/circulation.

My master said he is going to build a kick ass and cheap setup in about a month.  He can't wait! :laugh:

hey, those greenhouses arent bad. i think i might have to get one for mahself :laugh:

i know you could build one for 1/2 the price but a premade one like that would save a fair amount of time

Got one myself. FOr the bottom I've heard putting a trashbag (like a sock) to cover it. My idea is to arrange enough tyvek to cover the bottom so the CO2 will leak out, but will allow air in. I'm in the same problem with rigging up the cool mist to the accually greenhouse. All comments are welcomed for us newbs with the greenhouses. Peace.
