Cactus in bloom ID

it has a nice flower that resembles a pedro but its short and has like 15 spines.
does it contain alkoloids?

Maybe that's because it is kind of dumb to post a cactus up for ID in the Psychedelic Experience forum instead of the Ethnobotanical garden where the ethno garden cactus pros are and where the IDing is done. In this species all the trippy alkaloids are in the spines. Plugging them gives the best results.

This is true. I've had some of my totally headiest experiences plugging the spines of this type of cacti, brah.

I heard it was better to take them sublingually. Plugging works but for best results grab about 10-20 spines depending on your body weight and stick them under your tongue.

Yes it does contain alkaloids.
Does it contain the alkaloids you are looking for? Probably not.
It is a Trichocereus/Echinopsis sp. though.
