About 4-5 years ago, I started playing regularly for no particular reason. After about one month, I won $100.
I looked online and found that my chances were something like 1:90,000.
I stopped playing that day.
true story.

Damnn. Thats a big chunk of change to loose right there
When you get a winner for like 4-10 bucks, atleast I say fk it and go buy more. That turns into a few more winners/free tickets and before you know... your hooked

You can always check what prizes are left for each game from your states lottery website. Instead of playing bunk cards that have a few good winners throughout the state
And on the back of the card it tells you your odds of winning. Usually around 1:4.54 for the lower end tickets atleast

Anybody with an elementary math level could easily see that you have better odds playing roulette or craps. If you are going to waste your money on lottery, make it a big ticket, not a little scratch off.

first time i ever did shrooms i was at a friends house with a group of about 10 people, 6 of us were tripping. as i was coming up i found a lottery ticket sitting on a table, scratched it off, and saw that i won $5,000. i laughed my ass off for five minutes as my very confused brain tried to comprehend how i won the lottery on my first shroom trip. everyone assumed i was just tripping hard, and the fact that i was geeking out and wouldnt show anyone the ticket didnt help.
when i finally did show them everyone freaked out. the owner of the house halfheartedly demanded that i give him the ticket since it was probly his, but then joined in the celebration. then one girl took a good look at the ticket and then told me to read the back, which read:"only valid in your dreams". f'in A man
i ended up holding on to the ticket the rest of the night although i didnt realize it. when someone finally asked me three hours later what was in my hand, i opened it and found a wad of damp paper with holes where i had subconsciously been rubbing it. that made for a good laugh. fuck fake lotto tickets
