What if you get tired of singing praise to God 24/7? Can you opt out or like maybe take up macrame or pottery?

Don't worry, a good alternative to singing praise is just praying all the time! Instead of actually doing anything to help people, of course.

No they're obviously Unholy. I laugh at the homeless as I drive my Hummer to church.

i think the key here is your definition of "god".
what does this word mean to the INDIVIDUAL...
to think of god as an all encompassing spirit...the essence of each human, the source of us all...
then i would say that praising god would be to praise and celebrate all life, as god is the connection between all living things...god is what makes you you and me me, and also what makes us similar.
in this way god isn't an individual, it is all individuals, so that none, not even the pottery you have created, will have been created without praise to god. your pot would be a product of your praise and faith in the connection between all of us.
bringing up pottery is a good analogy between the creator and the created. the creator is the vibration with which all stems from, and the pot is the extension of your vibration...so the pot is a part of you but at the same time is an extension of your creativity, of your spirit.
i understand that you are directing your question to those who may define god as an individual, a man, an authoritative figure, and i think to believe that is to miss the point of spirituality.
to each his own, but i'll take god, pottery and macrame.

Hormonal delirium is conducive to your ability to multitask?
If hormones still exist in heaven, that is.

i've thought of this before. like if we go to heaven for eternity like religious people believe, what would we do for all that endless amount of time.

i think alan watts said something along the lines of going to church for eternity after you die sounds like "a total drag". i'd tend to agree with him.
