Thanks guys it's been around 10 days since it has been put it in fruiting conditions, shouldn't there be pins popping up yet? Let me know if you need more closeup pics... Also any advice you guys have would be appreciated since this is the first time monotubs have been used...

10 days is earlyish. I wouldn't even start getting anxious until day 14.
It'll pin any day now.

Grungeman17, what do you mean by barly up gas exchange? Got a fan going on high all day, what does it need to make it better?

well, from what i see you got your holes taped up which is ok i mean its worked for a lot of people, but with a good stuff of polyfil during colonization instead of tape you ensure good gas exchange during that period, no need for any fans and such during your colonization periods just for fruiting. i also notice your only running 2 holes i don't know if your running any up top, but i imagine when fruiting times comes you might want a few more stuffed holes because i personally don't think 4 holes will do ya for optimal fae.

There are two 2 inch holes on the sides that are covered up with a paper towel and then taped along the sides. Also there is one up top to allow for good flow... was worried that the humidity wouldn't stay up if there were more. should there be more? Pics to come.

this is how i rock my tubs, this is my first one ever i run TEN 2 in. holes with a tight poly stuff. during the time this colonized the room RH was 35, not humid at all really, paper towel? craft section at wally has polyfill on the cheap it hold humidy better than one would think as long it as there isn't any gaping holes in your stuffing technique, now, when fruiting time comes i usure you that you want more holes, for your setup since you already have 1 in the middle of your 2 longer sides... go for two holes on each short side top and bottom, 8 holes is what you want in the end, and you will loosin your poly stuff for the fruiting periods.

that looks like good mycelium, you need fresh air to keep the mycelium healthy and that helps keep the trichoderma etc away.

Ok guys, there is a different smell coming from this tub, definitely not fungus'y, should there be a concern? The little guys are popping up all over the place... probably 75 - 100 pins.

check out this piece of casing that was cut out... pretty sure this grow was a failure...

Also, not so sure about these fruits... they have a white hard spot on the cap:

The casing is in the trash, can a trusted cultivator please comment as to whether the fruits are safe to eat?

i'm not a TC but nothing leads me to believe those are bad fruits, if they smell fresh and are not mushy or decomposing, and no odd greens, which can easly be confused withe blue bruising, your fine that white shit on top is dryed myceilial matter. nothing from those fruits say danger to me.
