ok, so first sighting of pins in this tub was 3-4 days ago.. started with the big guy to the far left, up to the most recent of today which are the small one on the far right and the on pinning between the edge of the substrate and the side of the bin... question is how can i encourage more pins? the 2 big ones are doing great in my opinion.. getting fat real quick. but only 4 pins roughly 4 days after seeing the first one? is that not a little weird?
substrate = hpoo strain = koh samui

Substrate and mushroom bodies look a little dry to me. Cracking is observed on the caps of the 2 large fruit bodies suggesting dehydration as well your substrate is light in color (mushrooms too). I would move that fan further away from your fruiting chamber for I bet that's what's causing your substrate to be so dehydrated. I would also consider dunking the substrate for 24 hours to rehydrate it.

Pick fruits, then dunk. Move the fan further away from your fruiting chamber right away.

i just removed the small fan and turned the ceiling fan in the room onto low... do you think this will do it? should i remove some of the poly fill/complete unplug one of the holes?

The small fan will do fine and'll pull far less electricity then that ceiling fan will. Just move the fan to the other side of the fruiting area and set it on low.
I point the fan directly at the fruiting chamber and remove poly-fil from one hole when I fruit monotubs. If you don't have a large enough fruiting area to move your fan across, you can point the fan indirectly at the fruiting chamber(s) to create the proper air circulation.

don't be sad! be glad! you have mushrooms coming into this world for you. the reason you are disappointed is because you had an expectation that you would have more than that. next time, just try and go about it with no expectations and no assumptions. simply let the sacred mushrooms set the standards and give loving vibes.
everything looks good man. good job

expect the worst, that way when you only have a few, you're meeting your expectations, and if you happen to get an awesome flush you're extremely happy!
i've had piss poor first flushes like that, and the 2nd flush be amazing..

unless you mean prepare for the worst and hope for the best, i am not sure why expecting the worse would be of any benefit. especially if you take into consideration how much of life is what we put into it...

if you always expect the worst, then when you dont fail you're always exceeding past your expectations..and dont get mad/sad when/if you dont get as great of results as you were hoping for..

Because of the low humidity.
