hello there
my bong and ashcatcher broke about a year ago and has been sitting idly in my closet all this time. i have attempted to bring it to a couple local headshops in the past to get it repaired but no shops are doing repairs near me to my knowledge (anyone live in wisconsin perhaps know of a place that does?)
i am interested if any shroomerites have any suggestions as to how I can fix my glass myself or if anyone knows if it is even possible to be fixed professionally.

heres the tube. luke wilson inline with 10 arm tree perc. unfortunately, the perc is in like 6 pieces but i can live with that. i just want a functional piece of hardware.

my main delimma. not a very clean break on the fixed stem. i have the top part of glass where the slide can fit in, however, the two pieces do not fit well together mostly due to that large missing chunk. i was thinking of perhaps filling in that chunk with some type of glue or jb weld, wait until it dried and then to try and attach the top piece of glass as best i can.

i happend to be using my ashcatcher when the bong tipped over as well something like a 200$ piece. the break for this one is much cleaner and fits almost perfectly together with just a bit of open space inbetween
what do you guys think? am i fucked or would it be a risky procedure to try and fix myself? well over $500 in glass that is just sitting doing nothing.

you probably wont find any local repair solutions but there's plenty of places you can ship it to to have the repairs done, before doing that check the yellow pages for glass repair and glass blowers, if that doesnt help, clean it well and start checking companies like these for their rates
http://www.wilmad-labglass.com/products/repairs.jsp http://www.allenglass.com/scientific-glassware-repair.html http://www.specialtyglassinc.com/ http://www.adamschittenden.com/Repairs.php http://www.eaglelabglass.com/
and have them place it on a larger piece of borosilicate for stability
