Im thinking it would be safer to store some bigger quantities of weed and shrooms in the woods near the house. But i cant think what container would decent enough not to get molds and rotting and stuff? Just a tupperware container would work? Any thoughts?

what's the big deal/situation?..if you are in a tight situation that requires that drastic of measures, you should lay off of owning such things for a while.not like you will have the spare time to dig them up and get messed up if you can't keep them home long enough.
an air tight, waterproof container within another container would work fine....but don't let idiot friends know where you stash things or it is a lost cause.

I have no trouble and i dont have shitloads of drugs laying around nor im selling but its just a precaution. I just dont want to risk anything, i dont need more than like 5 grams in the house. Im just little paranoid.

Safer to keep it quietly in the house vs moving it around, IMO. Unless somebody already knows it's there.

Moving around would not be a trouble because i dont live in a crowded area. Thats not the question. I was just thinking if they would be alright in airtight container. But wat about below freezing conditions, how to store then?

freezing temps?you live in Nunavut or something? people don't freeze mushrooms,or I definitely wouldn't...so find a nice place to stash em in the house
moving things around/purchasing,is generally when people get caught...
you can stash them in the fake lysol cans or fake energy drink cans that are relatively cheap as well.

this site has decent little storage things....you should really keep the shit safe at home,if you live with the parents and can't keep them at home, move out.

Dried mushrooms can be frozen. It's fresh mushrooms that shouldn't be frozen because the water expands when it freezes and breaks the cell walls. This turns the mushrooms into a pile of sludge. But dry mushrooms don't have this problem.
I'd be worried about condensation getting inside though. Very few things are truly airtight. Just mostly airtight.

now if he were to put mushroom powder into capsules and keep them in a small film canister inside of the container...there shouldn't be any problems...but you have to let the container warm up a little bit before opening it when you retrieve it,or condensation would most likely be an issue.
RP,couldn't you just keep them in a box in the attic or something? unless you throw parties or tell people what you keep..you should be fine.there are no cameras in your house

lol, you miss the point a little. I can store stuff in hundred places in my house, nobody except my family would see and they are cool. I dont need to put them in a fake cans or something. There are places in the world where there arent 3people per square meter. The idea was just because in a case where police would come into my house, which is like 1-1000000000 chance, there would not be like 100g weed and shrooms. This is not a huge matter, it was just a thought if they would be alright in some kind of container.

If you dig deep enough freezing should not be a problem. Probably 3 to 6 feet depending on where you are, unless you are in Alaska.
How about a larger container filled with a water removing substance (silica desiccant something- brain farting) and in that another smaller container. Could work, might want to run some dry tests and check for water/moister.
Just a thought

I think it is a good idea to keep larger amounts off-site if you don't need access to them for awhile. You never know when the police will be in your house, could be a fire, pissed off girlfriend, informant, etc.
A glass canning jar is a good idea, but several layers of plastic bags and tupperware also works.
I'd put it at least a foot down and use gps to make sure you don't forget where it is.
Animals often dig for food where there has been recent digging activity, so a glass jar is a real good idea for that reason and also to prevent condensation. Desiccant is also very helpful.
Make sure you look like a regular nature enthusiast out for a day hike as you are putting it there and retrieving it.

Its actually a good idea if you live in an unpopulated area. Grind up some stems and scatter them around all over the place and dogs would never find your stash. Make sure you're never seen going to or from your stash and hide it well enough to where someone looking wont notice the ground has been disturbed. Multiple containers are a good idea and mason jars inside of another waterproof container with desiccant everywhere sounds like it would work great. I recommend finding out what your local laws are when deciding what to keep stashed. Why keep 5 grams in the house and have to take multiple trips to your stash when 28 grams is the same charge. Everyone I know that has anything over an ounce around here has a stash somewhere. Unless you live in the tundra or something the ground shouldnt freeze no matter what at a certain depth but it all depends on your climate. A five gallon bucket is pretty waterproof, holds a shit ton, and is much easier to fit in a hole than something square. Take the metal handle off if you're especially paranoid about men with metal detectors searching for your stash. You could even spray some deer urine around and the drug dogs wouldnt know wtf to look for.

Mason jars inside a five gallon plastic bucket sounds pretty bombproof.
You'd need a big hole to bury it, but you could leave it a long, long time.

wide mouth plastic nalgene bottles work well canning jars inside of 5 gallon plasic buckets inside a large cooler as well pipes that have screw on ends store in national forest, at least a foot below as they sometimes thin trees with heavy equipment

Canning jars in rubbermaid container seems to be the best option. And mark places on my gps.

Forget GPS. Mark the location the old fashioned way, with a treasure map.
More reliable over time, and easier to pass on, stash, etc.

Make sure you write some GPS coordinates on your treasure map so it is still useful if you can't find some of the landmarks.

Or if you have a metal detector: Tack or place a crushed aluminum can or two on top. Not sure how well mason jar lids would pick up.
