How long should I PC empty jars that were full of mould beforehand?

I had to put water in them, as they started floating in the PC.

There's nothing in the jars, so do I PC them for an hour or so?

I have no PSI settings on this one.

If they're empty, wash them out in the sink. No need to cook them at all.

U sposed to cook it before u open / empty it.

If there is nothing in them, just wash them lie any other dishes. You pressure cook them to kill the mold BEFORE you open them so you don't contaminate your house. If they have already been dumped out, there is no reason to pc the empty jars. Next time, pc the FULL jars for 1/2 hour, before dumping them out

That's great advice and everybody should take it... but I hate the smell of cooked mold.
So I do it like OP is saying, empty them outside then wash and sometimes PC the empties.
Half an hour at temp is plenty.

You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

It really is disgusting, but I wouldn't risk bringing all those spores back into my house.
