got any pics of your liberty?
Unfortunately i've been too busy to get out hiking to take pics. so annoying.
but hopefully next weekend i'll be able to get a good hike in.
Cheers, Obtuse.
After looking at it more closely I think it might just be a sub with a very long stem and a small conical cap. Also, just found a nice sub in my backyard.

Found 120 today after a quick hunt before work. Only had time to scour close to Hobart itself before I had to do things. Going with a mate to some further out spots for big game hunting. Will hopefully have a camera by then and can post pics.
So happy the season is here in force so soon

Went for a quick hunt on the eastern shore, not really expecting to find much, but luckily I found 26 subs! About 15 weren't fully matured, but I decided to pick them anyway due to the fact that they were growing in a school playground and I didn't think they would last too long.

Try and keep the patch going. That is if you can access it without any issues E.G close to home or being seen in the school grounds during out of school hrs. If you can access quite easy throw a few pine wood chips around the habitat. They look nice healthy shrooms

Been having very good luck lately.
Found 44 very nice sized subs on Wednesday and split them between 5 people, as well as 11 dried subs from a previous hunt.
Then today, found these nice subs.

The ones in the top right corner are dried subs from a previous hunt last week.

Been having pretty good luck with subs in the last week or so. I currently have about 100 dried and another 300+ drying.
Last 3 pics were found today at a school, growing on an oval. I have no idea how they've lasted this long without getting trampled.

I was convinced this had happened to me on one hunt, there was nothing there but once a thought like that gets in your head it's hard to get rid of.

I found a great spot, and i'm suprised that it hasn't been raided as its about 20meters from a road. There are alot pins and another heap teenagers. I've taken the matured ones.
I'm wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for a pin to get to its optimum picking stage?
Oh and the 'working water' is trashed.... I hear good things about the 'Field of Mountain.
I'm not following.. what is the "stand by me" bit you guys are talking about?

Give them about 5 days to a week. Depending on the weather though, i find when its very wet they mature quicker.
