Money clip vs. wallet

My wallet is due for a replacement and I was considering a money clip because I hate having bulky things in my pockets. Anyone want to share any experiences? I'm a little wary as it seems like it would be easy for everything to fall out and flipping through bills might be a bitch

I have used both. I got sick of all the baggage that goes with a wallet and money clips don't clip that well. For about 6 years, I just use a rubber band to hold my id, money, and debit card etc. They are everywhere and free. I will never go back.

I love money clips and carried one until I bought my HYBRID WALLET MONEYCLIP.
They're usually smaller and just more pocket efficient. And having a bulky wallet, or even a relatively small wallet will still cause hip torsion after years of sitting on them, leading to chronic pain disorders, postural problems and then that old person hunchback you always see.
True story.

Also, I never used a real money clip, but one of those small black binderholder things works like a dream and will fucking GRIP with some strength

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

i like the money clip that is magnetic and also has carrier for the cards..
you can keep it in your front pocket and it doesnt fuck up your back. they also keep you from being a pack rat. however, the number of bills they can carry are limited.. but still will hold enough to make it a while.

Rubber band is a practical solution but if I'm taking a girl out on a date you better be damn sure I'm not pulling out no rubber bands
It seems like with a money clip comes some sacrifice...

Jim Morrison kept his credit card and money between two pieces of cardboard for a wallet.

Ok guys let me tell you, purses are the way to go. No hip torsion, you can carry other necessaries everywhere with you with no inconvenience such as chapstick, books (for times when you might be bored otherwise), kleenexes, ipods, etc. There are no limits on what you might carry in a purse. And you can easily switch up shoulders so the purse, no matter how heavy, will not cause shoulder or back pain.

I pulled it out while I was with this chick that I was studying with, and she said, "Wow that is so cool and practical." Then she started doing it.

Every time I see some guy holding his girlfriends purse, I have to fight the urge to strip it from him and punt it down the road.
What are you, going on a jungle treck or something? No one needs to carry that much shit around with them at once.
