If I want to get drunk, I like an extra dry martini. Or gin fizzes on a hot summer day.

Does vodka really have less carbs and calories? If so, how much less?

I thought it was all about the same, unless you are drinking liqueurs. Looks like 64 calories per 1 ounce in Gin, Rum, Vodka and Whiskey according to some sites.
No idea about carbs, looks like zero in all distilled spirits. Being alcohol the body treats it differently I guess.
This is just from some quick searches so...

Idk if it has less carbs/calories than stuff liike whiskey or gin, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was more healthy than rum. Sooo much sugar in rum (I still love it).
But yeah, more info would be interesting on this.
