Tampa, Fl finding (Need Identity Help)
    #14224890 - 04/02/11 06:29 AM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Habitat:
Pasture, Dung

Gills:
Carmel? Tan? Brown?

Stem:
Short, Thin, See Picture

Cap:
Brownish/White

Spore print color:
I will get spore print in a few hours. Just seeing if you can help me out by looking at the mushrooms.

Bruising:
I couldn't tell of any bruising when I touched it cause I wasn't really paying attention. Although there are some darker spots on it. Black or dark purple or dark blue.

The pics are a little blurry, but I think it's safe to say they are a panaeolus sp. I'm looking through my book now to see if I can get closer..edit; after looking through my book, I'm going with psilocybe coprophilia, but I'm no expert

I am about to upload the spore prints. As you can see by the quarter they are very small. Can they be active?

They COULD be active, but you will prob. need more clear pics before anyone would say that. Chances are high that they are not active

These pictures aren't really good enough to tell the difference between Deconica coprophila and Panaeolus antillarum and P. papilionaceus and P. cyanescens.
