below from CH HELL's additives thread
#6 Sesame/soybean oil adds calcium, antioxidants, fats(food) and possible anti mold. Only add small amounts 1tbs per gallon of sub, too much will cause problems with texture among other things so use recommended or less.

check out damion5050's bucket tek, for coir...its coir/verm and not sure if he lists it, but i'd recommend adding a bit of gypsum..

np
"vegetable oil" is usually from rapeseed (canola oil). different oils have different nutrients in them. I would think it would make for a super weird texture, like CH says... never tried it though.
hpoo/verm/coir/gypsum/coffee is my preferred sub so far. I'd like to get some WC and play around with that too. I want a warehouse
edit: if you can properly pasteurize, definitely get some hpoo. if not, use the bucket tek with coir/verm/gypsum

Oils can be helpful. With coir you almost need to start with a very small amount(1tbs per brick) and add it before you add water, just pour it on the brick 10-15minutes before adding water. If you add it after adding water it is very hard to get it mixed in.
