First of all, I found all these in the same pasture growing directly from cow dung. Spore printing in progress for all of them.
Mushroom 1: I found this one alone. It appears to be a Cube, but I don't see any blueish bruising. It's possible I just need to wait longer.
Mushroom(s) 2: These are the (cross fingers) Pan Cyans. They were all grouped together.
Will update with spore prints.

The first one could be Deconica coprophila.

Forgot to metion. these are from southern alabama, if that helps narrow it down.
Spore prints are in!
Mushroom 1:
Mushroom 2:
edit: Even if they arent active, are they edible at least? I'm just going to eat them anyway, as long as they arent poisonous.

The second one is edible for sure and the first one is probably edible.

I'm in south alabama myself, and it's been a little too cool for cubes. None of the pastures in my neck of the woods have put out yet. But it's almost time. There is usually one last freeze before Easter and last night was chilly. I've seen cubes around here in March before but it was usually just one or two, not the prolific amount that will be here in the warmer months. That may be due to bad luck though. South Alabama is blessed with lots of cow pastures so you may need to look around different fields. Some pastures around my area never put out cubes or pan cyans, and I've diligently looked. Some fields put out more than I could ever carry.

Hey Robo, Good news! I've been looking around the past week in 4 or 5 fields known to produce and I found something good! It's been in the upper 70s the last few days and over the weekend there was a small shower in my area, nothing to write home about. But when I was poking around in the field today I found ONE SINGLE specimen. There was heavy rain and terrible winds tonight. As I type this, the temperature is falling into the low 50s. Hopefully it will get warm again the next few days. Also, I came across a cube growing from a friend's flower pot of morning glories with pf cakes under the soil. This one was mature. So, finding one in the feild ready to tear it's veil and one mature fruit from a flower pot, I declare the South Alabama 2011 Cube Season open! I still think it's kind of early but go out and find some gold. I'll be diligently looking over my area the next few days.

Sounds great.
I'll definitely give it another go in the next few days.
