So now it's tomorrow and it still isn't here, typical of my area. Tomorrow for sure.

Finally, it arrives. Wisconsin seems to not have their act together when it comes to sorting mail. My package waited in Milwaukee for 2 days.
Thanks SPOREWORKS!

Yea I think im changine my statement about the Works. I have went thru 3 syringes with absolutley zero sighs of viability at all. Ive got jars that have been going for a month with nothing. Im not a master mycologist and yes I had some problems when I first tried rye but I have gotten my rye prep down very well. So I know its not my prep. And its the same grain that ive used in the past. I truly belive its the styringes. Because it really cant be anything else unless someway a company that has been supplying rye grain to breweries for 50 years has all of a sudden started treating there grain with fungicides then it has to be the syringes. Even when I first started doing grain and it was soaking wet I still got growth yes very slow growth but it still grew.

Sucks to hear that man. My first syringe did great all of my jars had pretty aggressive growth.
Since my experience was fine, i don't have any input on their customer support, but im sure there is someone you can contact.

Yea it fucking blows. I just cant see how it can be anything else but the syringes. If its not the lids, jars or grain then there's only one thing left. My lids are made of vacutainer injection ports and 1/2 inch holes with synthetic filter discs rtv'd over them. So there's gas exchange. My grain is not too wet. Honestly its pretty damn good. Its the same grain that ive used before and shit grew before. So thru the powers of deduction it comes down to the syringes. I just dont see how with so many people giving nothing but good reviews about these guys that I could get three bad syringes in a row. But Im truly belive that to be the case.

Have you even tried goin simple and doin a plain pf jar? Mine have taken awhile to get off but that's bc it's the first go round and I didn't put enough substrate(whole rice) in so the needle only really hit the Verm. Other than that...they all grew something(got one in consolidation and two finishing up and one that was contam). Even the two lcs I started have shown something(used 1cc each). Maybe, if you try a lc whether it be a simple karo or honey or a glc(which I plan on doin next) you'd have luck instead of trying to germ with spores alone.
Maybe it's just the strain but I believe when I read the FAQ they'd guarantee for up to 15 days or something.

I have already done grain before I do not need to do a pf jar. I know how to properly prep grain. That is why im so frustrated I know its not my grain prep. I dont have any agar plates and I really cant afford to spend any more money on this shit right now.

i have been very pleased with sporeworks. the shroomery member hookup is pretty sweet. i have had all viable and healthy syringes that arrived in good shape and were packaged professionally and shipped discretely.
i will however be ordering from ralphster next time. not becuase i have had issues with sporeworks (3 of 3 orders as described above) but because he has a wider variety and i really want some oak ridge spores from him.

They want to experiment with various species, substrates, and fruiting environments. They'll move on to isolate strains, attempt hybridization, and in general treat cultivation as an artform, rather than a chore that must be performed as a means to an end. They'll work twice as hard for a ten percent gain, just for the love of perfection..." Roger Rabbit

I'm trying to order right now from Ontario but it won't accept my order for the 4-pack! Perhaps I'll call...
