BEARDS
    #14214403 - 03/31/11 11:40 AM (12 years, 9 months ago)

What do you guys think about beards?

I don't have a ton of facial hair, and it's pretty tough for me to get a nice looking beard...
I feel like it's only a matter of time before it comes in nice and thick, and once it's a possibility...I will have a spectacle of a beard.

I've been sick for the past like 4 days, and haven't shaved in a week...and my face itches so fuckin bad! when does the itchy stage end and the badassness begin?!

Give it a couple days, and the itch goes away.

I'm 27 and still can't grow a full beard, so just realize that.

I can grow a pretty good one though- but my mustache doesn't come in full enough.

I used to have a beard. Then I cut it off.

I like them. Not as a fashion statement, I looked bad with it. But I was just too lazy to shave. Just didn't give a fuck.

Beards are good because most people in america have an aversion to beards. More girls than men too. So if you have a beard, you know you can get the nonmainstream down to earth girls. Which I did.

I grow a beard every fall then shave it off in the spring.  It is great for mountain weather.  I was in Florida for a while and it really sucked with the weather down there.  The itch stops after about a week or 2.  Then after repeated beard sessions, you don't notice the itch that much anymore.  Check out this site  http://www.beards.org/

I've heard steroids can enable those of use who for some reason can't grow beards to grow them. You might be able to legally get them from a doctor. If girls who wanna be guys can get them, why can't a guy who wants to be able to grow a beard? You might have to pay a hefty fee and go to the office for injections though.

No itch at all.  You'll adapt.

OP -

Beards itch for different reasons.  Right now it's itching because it's coming in.  Later you'll scratch at your beard to dislodge hairs that have come loose and are poking your chin.  They itch less the more you maintenance them (washing, gently picking out old hairs etc)

This is also true.  I'd never want to be with a girl under any circumstances who felt like a beard was something a guy shouldn't have.  It's ancient and it's a sign of manliness and wisdom.  Anyone talking anything different is a new-gen kid and not in a good way.

Heres my beard 2 years ago

Didn't mess with any of my hair it's all natural, all I did was occasionally trim the moustache when it started to cover my upper lip. That shit is gross.
