lol yeah that's a great clip And I agree on the avatar aspect.
Here's a question...do you think that someone capable of being an avatar will always have the right answer? And how is "right" defined? I think of a story in the Quran about Moses trying to find the promised land. He kept questioning his guide whenever something he believed to be wrong happened. After several warnings from the guide, they parted ways. Moses never reached the promised land.

I don't think Mooji is as direct in the public satsangs, which are shown in the videos, as he is in the more intimate satsangs that you can listen to if you go to the audio section on his website. You can also hear people coming into realization/their ego's giving up on those tapes. The atmosphere in them somehow reminds me of my brief experiences with ayahuasca, no mercy when you're in the company of the eternal one.. Watching his videos is great and all, but it's just too easy to feel comfortable sitting on your chair in your apartment with the headphones on, nodding along as if you understand what he's saying. I've watched pretty much all the vids on youtube but I'm still somehow missing the crucial point. (Who am I?)
Oh, and I think that to actually understand X you have to BE X.. XP

I think someone who is an avatar would have perfect perspective. Absolute knowledge of what was/wasn't important in the grand scheme, the relationship between all living things etc.
Assuming this is possible it would really depend on the nature of the "supreme" self...itself. If it is an ageless consciousness that is omnipotent that's one thing. If it's a young'n using life to experience itself all bets are off.
Also, is Life a stand alone energy in the universe operating somewhat on it's own like magnetism or gravity...or is it THE universe. A lot of variables.
At any rate, I would expect someone like to provide deep insight's into Life. Not be able to recite Pi for 500 places or break down fusion.

I think Sr. Buddha was a little OCD. Guy had to make lists like it was nobodies business. You are probably familiar with his list of the 3 correct ways to answer a question.
#1- With an answer. #2- With a question. #3- With silence.
Seems like common sense to me...but most of his stuff does.
Anyway, IMO in this context "right" is the appropriate response from the above list which helps the seeker the most.
Of course this all ties together since if you don't what's important then how can you possible know how to help someone with something? Talking out yo ass man. lol
One thing that is IMO and IME extremely true is a quote from Albert.
Quote:
"If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself."
So whenever I see "teachers" launch into 5-10 minute answers about things which go all over the place I have to giggle a bit. Either they don't fully understand what they are talking about, or they should have stopped at step #2 for a few rounds and gotten to the heart of the question instead of over reaching.

hehe.
I find it especially funny when they claim it's not something to understand then go on and try to explain it!

he is pointing to what you/i/we are, the universal Self, the truth that is left behind when everything illusory passes, hes not pointing to anything you can gain or lose but to whats eternal inside us, but it doesn't require any belief at all, its just about what you honestly are & focusing on that, not believing in/settling your mind on any appearance, staying clear like open space, which is pure bliss.
