Thanks.
Update 5-3-11
Been there for a few days now (at 100% colonization).

Started the bags last weeks but due to life happening, had to halt production.
Between 2 25x electric AA steroclaves and an AA, model 941 PC, 14, 6 quart spawn bags filled with properly prepared rye were able to be sterilized at once.
The sterile bags were removed from the PC, wiped with an alcohol soaked paper towel and placed into a few large storage totes that were also wiped down with an alcohol soaked paper towel to safely store the sterile bags while production continues.

My region's climate is going to be experiencing hot dry weather for weeks to come. It's about time to spread the horse manure over a tarp and begin shredding and further dehydrating it out in that sun.
More to come.

One word to describe this research experiment= SENESCENCE!
The jars posted above were T3 from a bag of colonized grains inoculated with T2 fully colonized grain jars from mother jars that were inoculated with a known-to-be-clean LC. Each fully colonized jar were then, transferred out into a 5 quart spawn bag (T4).
After T4, which ever bag didn't subcombe to bacteria or mold displayed weak looking and, slow growing mycelium. Any bag that DID make it bulk spawning behaved in the same manner as the mycelium colonizing the grain spawn after the fourth transfer (T4), either colonized slow, was weak looking or, became bacterial or molded. Out of 72 T3 jars, must have had somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-12 tubs (I can't remember exactly how many) flush at least once, prolifically.

How did that jar turn out from the g2g transfer? I'm looking at doing that tonight, any recommendations?

It worked out pretty good, man. It was pretty easy to transfer the grains into the jars from a bag.
In hindsight though, I wish I would have gone with RR's suggestion of transferring that bag into more bags. Transferring from bag to bag would have created me more spawn at about 1/8th of the effort.
