If you can stay put in class, I think it's worth it. Being in class while tripping on acid must be really interesting.
My 2 cents.

I've already got an A in the class, is it to much to have a little fun?
I didn't know that, if you've got an A and you're not bullshitting here then by all means I'd say go ahead, you're obviously doing well enough in school that you're probably smart enough to try and learn something from your acid trip.

I took a low dose of mushrooms on the day that my bio class was covering fungi. I had been reading about fungi in every book or web-page I could find, so I didn't really have much to learn from the class.
I was able to keep up with the lecture, which acted as a refresher to my knowledge of mycology, and my trip was really pleasant and relaxing.

I've done it several times before in highschool. It lasts so long that I would eat my hits throughout the morning/early afternoon. 1 in 2nd period, 1 in 3rd, 1 at lunch, and another at 4th period. I was usually fine in 2nd period, waiting for it to come up. 3rd was hit or miss, and I never learned anything in 4th. Then I'd go home and trip until 12AM, and go to sleep. Had to wake up at 5:30AM, so I couldn't dose after school, or I'd be up all night. Of course I could have waited for the weekends but I was extremely impulsive and impatient at that point in my life.
But interestingly enough, I had algebra II 3rd period one semester, and I gained a whole lot from it. The first hit had come up, and the second was on its way up. We were doing graphing, and for the first time I saw the graph the way it actually was. I always knew hot to graph equations, and always got A's, but no teacher had ever taken the time to explain exactly why we were doing what we were doing. But on acid, I could think about and understand every single number on the graph at the exact same time, and when I looked at the graph, I actually saw an equation. It was extremely interesting.
Other than that, most of the experiences have been wastes of acid and learning time.

I dosed at college one day, Im a bio major and I took it before a bio class because I thought it would make everything the prof was talking about super interesting but it turned put everything in the room but the lecture was way more interesting it was neither awesome or a disaster
I smoked a blunt right before class too, if I were to do it again I probably wouldn't have smoked.
I had left school on a bike trail to smoke and on the return journey to class some dude on a Bmx bike came down an on-ramp onto the trail right behind me, I was on a road bike single speed and for some reason I thought the dude was gonna try and jack me so I stop abruptly turn around to him and ask him how to get to a gas station (I guess to be friendly so he won't jack me) and he said I was going to wrong direction (which I knew) but I was like ohh ok thanks and continued on, dude must have thought I was nuts and I think that kind of peaked my trip so when I got to my class the eventful stuff had already occurred. That's my relevant info.

Not really sure what What it was called. But as for my trip went as i had thought.
Learned about Patrilineal and matrilineal societies. also learned about how china fucked up when they did that thing to get everyone to stop having more than one kid. Its working in the aspect that their population is being controlled, but now their isn't enough young people to take care of the old, and also, since big business is taking all its business over seas and giving jobs to women all the men in these countries are out of work and depend on their wives to support their families.. so basically with big business exploiting these women and their husbands not really liking the fact that they provide everything in the sense of money, their treated with little respect and looked down upon in these societies..
I thought it was really interesting.

The way that countries spend money, there will never be enough young money to take care of the old...although, I completely agree with that law/decision.

Very true, and I agree with the law to some extent.
While i was in the class given the circumstances, while my prof was showing pictures of these large families that live in the same house hold I was able to use empathy on a whole nother level, and at one point I somewhat "felt" the pain that these women go through in these societies. I sucks for them cause even when their made to work long hours at factories, textile mills etc, they have to come home to a husband thats pissed hes not the main money maker, and in a sense hes is losing his masculinity. Also since so much depends on the women to take care of the family the husband keeps a tight leash on them, so they wont leave them, cause if they were to leave them, then the husband would be SOL. I've never really noticed how much women are taken advantage of in todays societies, of course in our society its different women have as many rights as men do, and are way more independent
1000's of years of this same practice has left societies in a "funk", where so much stress is laid on one sex or the other creating inequalities amongst families. when you look at Hunter Gather societies their isn't really any of this, everyone(men and women) does what everyone else does to a certain extent, life is somewhat easier in the sense of emotional anguish, their is far less stress laid on any one sex or person, also with that their almost is no fighting amongst families, everyone gets along quite nicely and it works out perfect for everyone.
Over all I enjoyed my self very much, and had no problem understanding the lesson she was teaching..

I am glad your experience went well for you and nothing bad happened at all. Actually sounds like you were able to pay attention/process information pretty well.

Just wanted to point out my opinion that I don't think that this is true at all! You are making QUITE the leap, saying that in hunter gatherer societies that there was "no fighting" amongst families and that everything was "perfect for anyone", that is nuts! You don't think that tribes fought amongst each other, over land or resources? You don't think American Indians fought amongst each other? If you do not you are mistaken. And to think that there were not people, in such small communities, that would be cast out from their villiage, for a multitude of different reasons, is just nuts. It you wanted to find the evidence of all of this it would not take you much digging.
Not being a dick or anything, and I say this just for the sake of adding to discussion; but I think you have a picture of ancient socities in your head that is waaaay to flowery
