A very captivating read. Sounds like the trip that all want to stay away from. I sure as hell wouldn't know how to cope if i was in the same situation as you mate. Usually when i trip, i'll stay in one spot, and make sure i have everything i need to stop me from having to move from that spot. But again, amazing read, thank you for sharing!

Wow, very well written! I can totally relate to the people talking around you and piecing together parts of the conversation into puzzle pieces that fit into your own life...crazy.

So, I had court and I actually was completely let off the hook. The judge didn't ask any questions and just believed I had been drunk and assigned me to some AAA classes. Got a bit of communityservice and I'm a free man. It is great to put it behind me.

Outstanding!
There was no evidence one way or another on what inebriant caused your temporary lapse, so he opted to save the state some money by assuming a set of facts most favorable to the defendant!
Lucky! Next time (if there is one!) remember to have more reliable sitters.

Nice! Did you hire a lawyer?
I got a legit drunk-in-public charge a couple of weeks ago and am praying for a clean record.

I think it's unfair to blame his friends for what happened to him. By the sounds of things they all could've taken better care of eachother, but he took the largest dose so naturally should have expected to be gone a little further than his mates. If you're all trying to stay on the same page, all share the same (or a similar) dose. If one of your friends doesn't feel up to it and you want to go further, maybe take another 0.5 of a gram or something. You can't realistically take double the dose that all your friends are and expect to all share in the same experience/be on the same page because it's not going to happen.
Not being funny man, and a lot of people here will disagree, but the one piece of advice I always give to would-be-shroomers...
NEVER smoke pot when you're coming up. Ever.
A lot of people here will contest that, but of all the experiences I've had with mushrooms the most unpredictable have always been because I decided to smoke a joint before or during the come-up. If you've just eaten an 8th of mushrooms you don't need to get high, you're going to be high enough. Yes they're two drugs and they do two different things but by the time the mushrooms kick in you won't even know how stoned you are, so the worst case scenario is the trip catches you by surprise and you freak out, the best case scenario is you've wasted your weed, because now you're tripping and slightly stoned (for all the good it'll do you). The mushroom will ALWAYS take it's place above and over the marijuana. The only thing marijuana can possibly bring to the table (at this point in the experience, IMO) is paranoia, which leads to the dark side.
If you have to do something to cut loose and relax before the mushrooms hit you have a beer or something. I'm not saying get really drunk, but get a little merry, put yourself right. A lot of people round here say that relaxes you and aids your acceptance of the trip to no end.
If you have to mix mushrooms and marijuana have a smoke after the peak. If you can help it, a good couple of hours after the peak. Just like when you've been boozing all night then have a joint and suddenly find yourself really drunk, mixing mushrooms and cannabis is unpredictable at the best of times and dangerous at the worst.
Just my thoughts. Hope everything works out with your school man.
