Spray with 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide and up the fresh air.

If it is cobweb then it will rush the hole surface in only 2-3 days. If it grows slower it is just the myc. I believe, it is not cobweb.

Mix the peroxide 1:10 with water. If you just spray with straight 3% solution your going to harm mycelium.

No, the 3% solution right out of the brown bottle is what's recommended. It's going to harm the healthy mushroom mycelium anyways, just don't go overboard.
If you use a bleach solution for sanitizing and whatnot, then you wanna make 1:10 mixture of bleach:water.

Like Luger said, it'll totally overrun the tray/tub in a matter of a day or two if it's cobweb. Just wait it out and keep an eye on it.

Yea im pretty sure your completely wrong here. If you want to spray your stuff down with 3% solution then be my guest.
Diluting the peroxide reduces the harm done to the mycelium while still killing the cobweb. Its common sense that more concentrated h2o2 will do more harm.

Lol, ok.
A simple search will show you that I am indeed correct. But what do I know?

I pretty much always agree with RR. undiluted 3% peroxide is fine if your using a Q tip on a specific area, but spraying h2o2 undiluted all over your casing or cakes is counterproductive. Why would you sit there and stunt the mycelium growth if you could get rid of the problem without harming the mycelium. There is practically no ill effects if you use a diluted solution and it certainly gets rid of the problem.

I'm just going with what's worked for years, and what's been proven and confirmed by a number of different TCs.
This tray had cobweb mold before I put it into fruiting. I sprayed it with 3% H2O2 twice over a 24 hour period.

The mold backed off and I ended up with a rather nice pinset. I hardly call that counterproductive.
I'm not saying a diluted solution wouldn't also work to some extent, I'm just stating what works for me and what also works for many others. To each his own. I suppose.
